Flashing XXJVU /DXJV9

I) VALUE PACK! Stock XXJVU

XXJVU(2.3.6) is the latest and probably best of all. For beginners, these are the best firmware to try.
Procedure
1. Download XXJVU
2. Download Odin and .pit files here
3. Flash it by odin. Use 512 pit file and tick re-partition.

this at 1st page. just do this 1st.

How to flash using odin, go to "How flash using Odin'

just do the above.

I believe it's still Semaphore. Wait till v3.0 is out laugh.gif Tempted to flash brows.gif laugh.gif Mind telling what apps does it have in the rom?

i have flash thunderbolt but it does not bootup.. can someone help me.. should i reboot??
*
This is weird.. Thunderbolt doesn't mess with those things that can cause a bootloop. Will have to wait for Pikachu to answer this.

QUOTE(isaaclimhw @ Jan 20 2012, 11:29 AM)
2.5 still using semaphore kernal..

and yeah i dont' think they have face-unlock.. don't seem to have it..

but it's super fasttt! coming from simplicity. i can really feel the difference! especially when loading whatsapp which has many messages inside!
*
Because they're using big memory Semaphore, that's why face unlock are disabled to save ram. For sure Gamerzrom will be faster than the simple Simplicity biggrin.gif

it is not possible to change the OC thing in gamerz rom as the developer already mention that he set the best setting in his rom. if normal rom it is easy, just use voltage control or the kernel control app.
*
Just to correct this.. To revert to the default frequency(1GHz) in Gamerzrom, just delete "S05enable_oc_1200" script in /etc/init.d folder and reboot.

your right... but sometimes i missed when im inside certain apps.

btw, did anyone facing problem to mount /sdcard upon flashing ThunderBolt scripts after upgraded to XXJVU stock ROM??

The steps to flash this scripts is to mount the following 3 directory before proceeding:
1. mount /data
2. mount /system
3. mount /sdcard

The first 2 options are available, but /sdcard directory is nowhere to be seen in the CWM... sad.gif

it only has /mnt/sdcard

is it the same??

please kindly advise.

Yes, you can just flash the normal Semaphore kernel anytime. I wanna flash too, waiting for v3.0 tongue.gif

The only person I know using Froyo is Nasrulbond. But he shld be on Gingerbread now..

The word "Root Mode" is always red in colour. Some kernels require users to install Superuser manually smile.gif
