Finally a leap in battery technology. We probably don't have to charge every day again tongue.gif ...in 3 to 5 years

even if it is out, it would be very very expensive!!! imagine if they manage to patent it for themselve, world leading battery producer like Duracell will be in deep trouble!

better than Apple patenting it rite? rolleyes.gif

Yup, should be the CFS issue. I'll release another version that has a less aggressive CFS in a few hours. Sorry about that.
*
No worries, good thing it can be solved. I thought it's GB's problem laugh.gif

btw, any reason why people are not using XFJVA? Saw some forumers saying it's more fluid than XXJVT.

How's Talon on ur side? still nid cache dropping?

QUOTE(alucard_my @ Nov 17 2011, 10:57 PM)
Haha..just trying whatever I can to solve the wifi thingy.

Router has always been on forever. On static IP now and it seems that even on static IP i get disconection. While the wifi icon would still be there, there would be no access to the internet. Sad..
*
Don't set it to be "Forever". That way you'll get disconnection for sure

RoxyMunky, don't confuse yourself with CM7/MIUI with Samsung thingy. They're two separate things, especially don't flash a speedmod on CM7/MIUI laugh.gif

Pikachu, I'm still facing unbearable lags when playing Asphalt 6. But it's better than before. It's like lag for a while then suddenly the car went forward a few miles laugh.gif Happens quite a few times along the route until it's unplayable. Restored Thunderbolt! and tried playing again, it's fine though

Hmmm, CFS being the culprit again? >.<

I'll look into it.

I have no idea about CFS thingy, guess I lack knowledge on those part tongue.gif But I can assure it's improved in 1.9.4 smile.gif After quitiing Asphalt 6 then the homescreen and appdrawer gets loaded again. Without Thunderbolt! the homescreen and appdrawer reloaded too, but quicker

btw, hardware acceleration is finally working good on ICS port guys!!

It's recorded using the phone's app, maybe some deterioration in speed I guess. But they claim it's tonnes faster than Gingerbread. Gingerbread can't even compare laugh.gif I do believe in hardware acceleration smile.gif anyway it's still in alpha

QUOTE(Ivan113 @ Nov 19 2011, 02:09 AM)
what is the difference between hardware acceleration and non hardware acceleration? afaik if hardware accelerate is enabled, gpu will handle most of the process, or something like that
*
without hardware acceleration, CPU will handle the process like transition and animation something like tat
with hardware acceleration, the GPU will handle those, it'll be a major leap in speed since our SGS's GPU rocks icon_rolleyes.gif

Is that really a genuine bug in the new market app or something to do with most phones having small sized market caches? I've noticed that apps bigger than 30MB often fail to install until I temporarily reassign my /cache folder to a folder on my internal sd which currently has 3GB of free space.
*
I think it's most phones having small sized market cache. I once shared a link on how to create a virtual cache on sd, mind sharing the link where u get it working? biggrin.gif

Pikachu, I just reinstall Motorola's version of Asphalt 6, I'm amazed by the difference in smoothness. The SGS version just sucks!! It's night and day!! I guess it'll work fine with Thunderbolt! 1.9.4. Sorry for troubling u previously..

Can't imagine it's the game's fault doh.gif u guys shldn't use SGS's Asphalt 6 apk in case u guys are playing. Makes me wonder why all this while Gameloft came up with this standard of Asphalt 6 after Asphalt 5

lol. where to get motorola version?
*
Search for v3.1.2. That's the version for these devices:
- Motorola A955 Droid 2
- Motorola Droid X
- Motorola MB611 Cliq 2
- Samsung Galaxy Tab

Pity for those who actually bought the game. I ran into this thread and deciding to try. The difference is is really XXXXX laugh.gif Ignore the Tegra2 in the thread, they later realised it's Motorola version

Nice, but I see that it's not in English?

How's the notification drop down? I guess it doesn't have the quick access like on Sammy's ROM?

Maybe the guy changed the language tongue.gif Don't think it has the quick access since it's built from ICS sources

I can't find the link at the moment, but I had written the steps down:

su
rm -R /cache
mkdir /sdcard/cache/
mkdir /sdcard/cache
ln -s /sdcard/cache /cache
exit

* change is effective until you reboot the phone *
