smartphone jz like ur pc... when u 1st bought it, it is so fast, after a while it slowed down liao, how u gonna get back the original speed?

Flashing our sgs is consider easy, as long as u got a backup apk+data, u r sorted, cos u only need restoring them.

i hv not tried CM, but anyone here can confirm it will not lag and flawless?
*
I've tried CM7 before. It does lag one tinnniiieeeeee bit! laugh.gif but it's minimal. The only thing holding me off is the battery

QUOTE(annas473 @ Jan 8 2012, 01:42 AM)
from my experience, i think my phone feel lag when i start using apps that replace the stock.

For example, Go Launcher with random animation.

But if without random animation, lag does not always occurs.

Gaming also sometime lag (Asphalt 6 HD) but sometime smooth biggrin.gif (lag not always occurs)

Hope this do help u  cheers.gif
*
Which is why I always use stock touchwiz launcher. Have you tried the motorola version of Asphalt 6 HD? laugh.gif

Ken:

thank mate, but i would not want to flashed it 1st, cos it is still new, as he oredi said, the current 2.0.0 version have not got the full set like the pervious JW1 1.5.5, so jz wait la.. but the battery percentage is really important to me.. as i used to it now.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wonder anyone of you have any idea with regards to the new Market.

when i restored my apps, but when i open the market>menu>my apps, it does not show at all, it jz showed the apps that i downloaded since i went on the new ROM. Is there any way to link my restored apps onto the list, so that when there is update on my restored apps, i will be notify as well. When i use the old Market, there is no such problem.
*
Try the mods I used in my signature? It has battery %, CRT-off and extended power menu

Regarding the market issue, try clearing Market's data in Applications Settings, see if it helps

there is a big problem when using face unlock, when people call you, 20% or maybe 30% of the screen from the top will show the calling screen, then the rest will show the video of your front camera, trying to recognize your face, is it happen to me only or?

Waiting for someone to call me to test tongue.gif But the face unlock should stay longer on the screen before recommending alternative

If your kernel supports Voodoo Colour (providing I'm right on this, pls correct me if I'm wrong), you'll have "Super AMOLED Hardware Controls" in your Voodoo Control App to tweak your display settings smile.gif

But, seems like I cannot upgrade via Kies to 2.3.6.
Is it?

Feels a bit blur when reading the 1st page.
I saw some update for ICS of Stock ROM.
Actually what's the best Stock ROM now?  rclxub.gif

Never used Kies. It's troublesome. I jump straight to CWM and Odin laugh.gif

which link u use? the multiupload or the hotfile? coz the file size for the multiupload link is (0 byte) ? O.o...

Hotfile. The multiupload link is for downloading the Samsung photos, files and videos that the rom packager removed from the rom

QUOTE(gajahwhite @ Jan 10 2012, 07:35 AM)
yup.. the hotfile one is ok.. which kernel will u use? semaphore not release yet for JVU..
btw.. when will u get married? u've told us before but i forgot when happy.gif

Latest Semaphore will do. It's compatible like other Gingerbread kernels thumbup.gif

thus it means that deodex is better?? and most of sifus here using adex or deodex??
*
Deodexed roms are mainly easier for customisations, ie. themes.
Odexed are a bit faster but customisations are limited as some theme makers are lazy to make odexed versions.

Odexed is the trend nowadays wink.gif

Does anyone know the risk of flasing rom with your battery at around 50%? I wanted to flash a new rom right now but i'm not sure about doing it since there are some developers advice to flash while the battery is full
*
I did that last time, not much of a risk if u flash successfully. Last time I failed and ended up in bootloops trying to flash the rom I want, wasted quite a % of battery there but lastly successful as well biggrin.gif

The XDA link is for Froyo

If you're on Froyo, just flash the xda link (K13E)

Did the wipe data and cache

when it reboot, my phone just shows a black screen between the bootloader screen and the boot animation.

Any suggestion, it shd not be due to Bootloader, as i m move from JVU, any suggestion?

After you wipe you'll have to flash Onecosmic again smile.gif
