ICS brings full hardware acceleration and hardware composition support. (For real! not just the stock browser)
- nvidia will beg to differ. synthetic benchmark may not mirror real-world performance. CPU is also another important metric to a game's performance.

- which one, the galaxy nexus?
Have a read:
1. google employer attempting to dispell myths surrounding android lagginess:
https://plus.google.com/1050519857382802618...sts/2FXDCz8x93s

2. There's another good article written by a google ex-intern explaining why android is so laggy. :
https://plus.google.com/1008382760974518092...sts/VDkV9XaJRGS
Even with full hardware acceleration, it's still not as fast. Galaxy SII with Gingerbread is faster than Galaxy Nexus (most users having both say that). Yeah, I read those 2 articles. Hopefully Android is able to improve notworthy.gif

This 2 games can support SGS?? Anyone tried??
AFAIK last time The SIM 3 got some issue with SGS...
*
Like I said before.. Use the Motorola version if you wanna play. Don't buy the game for SGS itself, the gameplay sucks. Choppy and laggy. Graphics' lousy too.. Not sure why they made it so lousy for SGS. But when I use the Motorola version it's smooth

Try to change your router reservation DHCP settings. Set lease time to other than "Forever"

Sims 3 is working fine here though. There is no choppiness. But then I just started out.

Even if it is not worth to buy because of issues with SGS, its only 10cents! Install it again on your new phone or tablet in the future  biggrin.gif
*
Sims 3 is working fine, only Asphalt 6. Yeah, 0.10 of coz boleh laugh.gif But wonder why the SGS apk is choppy sad.gif

Ic.. when i use stock rom i  from stock -> custom kernel -> lagfix -> ThunderBolt!

but still not smooth enough...
even though using the same custom kernel.

there is only one time i feel that stock rom is smooth
which i think was on XXJVS with ThunderBolt 1.9.2 i think.
*
Maybe custom rom's smoother for u because the stripped out bloatwares. But stock rom gingerbread does the job for me smile.gif

With this, do i still need automemory killer app?

With this tweak, will it overide my semaphore smartassv2 and simple I/O?

No need automemory. Disable all tweaks from Semaphore smile.gif

Just after JVZ's out, here comes I9000XWJW1 (Android 2.3.6)

Added on December 14, 2011, 9:30 pm
QUOTE(cradle0fFilth @ Dec 14 2011, 09:08 PM)
i downloaded stock JVZ from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377396

upon un-rar the file, there are total of 4 files:
APBOOT_I9000XWJVZ_CL762604_REV03_user_low_ship.tar - 2,181kb
CODE_I9000XWJVZ_CL762604_REV03_user_low_ship.tar - 284,984kb
GT-I9000-CSC-HOME-MULTI-OXAJVT.tar - 9,761kb
MODEM_I9000XXJVT_REV_00_CL1064602.tar - 12,291kb

1. Edit: APBOOT -> bootloader file. what do i do with this?
Do nothing with that

2. from JVR to JVZ, i dont have to flash the pit file right (Flash with re-partition UNTICKED)?
You don't have to, but you can without any harm

3. In odin:
    CSC goes to CSC
    CODE goes to ???
    MODEM goes to ???

CODE = PDA
MODEM = PHONE

cheers. used to do it often. look what happen to me now. Lol

thx guys!

Have tried the small font, but still prefer the default size. And yeah, have set to ondemand governor plus 1.2GHz overclocking. Noticed lag when scrolling between apps in the app drawer.  smile.gif

Maybe it's still in Alpha stages. That's y I refrained from flashing. TAHAN!!! brows.gif

haha.. but Touchwiz UI's fancier than ICS Vanilla. It's also Touchwiz that contributes to where Samsung is today
