Hi, could anyone share ur experience of changing tyres from 175 65R15 to 195 60R15
on current Honda City S spec?
Some people told me that convert like this is dangerous.
Kindly comment.

are you going to use standard rim for the 195 tyre?

wider tyre is better for dry condition. but in wet condition it could lead more to aqua planning if your car is too light. What is city kerb weight? 195 is ok for 1.2 tons car.

195/60-15 is 1.1% bigger than standard. less than 4% deviation is ok. your speedometer reading will be a bit wrong smile.gif
I don't know what is city stock rim width?. if it's 5.5j then it's still ok to use 195.

Yup, the S spec rim is 15' 5.5J

Added on November 3, 2011, 4:50 pmActually, what i need is those who have this experiences.
That is , using original S spec rim 15 inches 5.5J with 195/60R15 tyres on it.
Any unpleasant or good experiences?
Thx. ^^
