Today I just mount the antenna, if put indoor not much different, slight improve on CINR. Reduce lag and spike onlige gaming.
Got great improvement on signal strength if put outdoor.
But it is difficult to mount it on the beam, the panel is too heavy and wind is too strong (I stay at 17th floor). It can't hold on the angle I want.
Finally give up just put indoor.
Anyway thanks to coolstore for fast delivery.

a) put at window area (maybe put a table there) , facing out to the sky w/o blocking, don't put behind wall again.

b) or if u got useless camera tripod, also can use it to mount the antenna with anti-slip mat, and put the tripod near window, with that kind setup u can easily do antenna angle adjustment and even relocate tripod with antenna anytime u like, it is full of variety setup way... endless imagination (while got time i shoot a picture of sample)

i suggest (b) as angle adjustment very helpful at your scenario as u r at 17th floor to get desired result.

Actually I am already put it facing out window. If put behind wall really no connection.
Btw, I get better signal using single panel antenna, remove both build in antenna in the modem.

this is very informative feedback. i would tell others to try this way (remove all internal antenna connection instead keep using internal x1 + external x1 and just use external wimax antenna) to see if getting even better result.

Added on December 17, 2011, 3:48 pmoh, too bad to hear ur new location is a complete blind spot of redtone wimax. anyway, did u see any neighbour using redtone wimax near to your house? if such the case, it could be to do with the new redtone cpe modem u bought, maybe not functioning well. if really no neighbour around using redtone, then it really a redtone blind spot area.
