QUOTE(am3 @ Jun 28 2016, 09:25 PM) usb dongle go & mifi huddle are not "fit" for connecting external antenna now bcoz of their connector port design, are not same with zoom.it got a adapter cable for dongle go & huddle's type of ports, but these adapter cable are designed for temporary use for diagnosing signal matter during toubleshooting in service centre, not designed to be permanent fit & stay firm on those testing port. |

QUOTE(Skyla8812 @ Jun 30 2016, 02:52 PM) signal booster does not have "network standard", means it does not care 4g , 3g, 2g, all these r network standardbooster same as antenna, is only about what frequency band to boost, e.g 900mhz booster, 2100mhz booster like that... so your "4g" refers to which one? wimax 2300mhz also called as 4g, then for lte, our country got 850mhz (tmgo only), 1800mhz, 2600mhz and the latest 2300mhz by Yes |

QUOTE(Eugenet @ Jul 9 2016, 04:16 PM) I've been using this product for about a week. Here's a short review. for high rise residential building e.g. at 20th floor, normally the ideal antenna focus direction position would be facing downwards as generally base station would sit on lower commercial building roof, unless there are also plenty high rise commercial buildings there then possibly telco would place base station at these top buildings, so also depends on your environment scenario.I live on 20th floor. My Yes Zoom shows only ONE bar Wimax reception (max 5 bars). One bar sounds bad but general internet surfing is fine. No issue with VOIP. Can watch youtube videos sometimes. I bought two antennas, but I decided to install only one antenna. The result now is I'm getting two bars now. So there is a visible improvement. I didn't do speed tests. I'm just happy seeing two bars instead of just one. Dismantling Yes Zoom is not easy because this unit is mostly held together with catches and not screws. If you are not careful, you can break the plastic pieces. So please slowly study how to dismantle it. there are 2 system indicators important for getting good connection experience: RSSI number: the lower number the higher signal level, it far more accurate than any bar indicator. CINR number: the higher number means more useable data and less noise in a data packet(signal) received, resulted in higher speed. these info along with other wireless statistics is available in the modem settings page, it help u tuning the antenna direction. |

QUOTE(sibun @ Jul 14 2016, 03:17 AM) afraid to say no good or not practical for now, as hunddle/usb go 's ports are not same with zoom, and those adapter cable for these ports are technically no good for stable/firmed connection for external antenna for long time, temporary testing/diagnosing is ok, but not meant for permanent connection. |

QUOTE(w00t @ Aug 23 2016, 02:11 AM) if dx-825 network LED light show orange/red light, it run on wimax network, still apply wimax antennaif it show blue LED light, it run on LTE 850mhz band network (same as tmgo/webe), not yet P1 own LTE 2600mhz network, then this wimax 2300 antenna not suitable |

QUOTE(wilson88 @ Mar 27 2017, 11:36 PM) need to rethink about "single band+ high gain" antenna with spectrum reallocation exerciseas many local consumer have tendancy to ask: "i'm xxx users, i want to use on xx + xx bands, maybe also add xx band i want very powerful antenna, best and highest gain 18dbi or above, 1 piece and i want cheap price..." at the end: wanted multi bands + very high gain + 1 piece + cheap price = juz go and falled into trap of those selling fake china antenna products, especially toy plastic panel antenna! It really under prediction by these manufacturers that many consumer (china there also) just like ask sth they want, not really understand it is not makeable under those requirements, both technically and economically. So the easiest way to satisfy customer is just label whatever they like to see on packaging box and do some online unethical marketing promotion, photoshop alike, done! e.g. band support : 700mhz to 2700mhz, dbi: 35dbi ! simply do packing box and win liao no need any production equipment, RF engineer, testing all that, juz make plastic casing mould and plastic reflector board, then glue into the plastic casing, done, sell to overseas! this hard for selling tradisional antenna with genuine gain marking (dbi value) and high cost (because of solid aluminium material + labor + production testing) |
