Categg still remember the "electrostatics" that I talk about?
Hmm... very intresting stuff.. laugh.gif

Still burning in my amp. Bloated bass - definately.. not enough highs - check.. still but ohhh the soundstage and insturment separation are sweet flex.gif Bass does goes a tad more lower too despite it being bloaty. Somehow i think the improvement on my headphones are not as big as using them on my speakers, maybe it's the crappy thumbdrive mp3 player i loaned from my fren not good enough laugh.gif Overall sound seems much more refined compared to not using the amp.

The Amp ID is PA2v2-10-20-2005-1575

And yes i'll have to say that gary's cable went kaput already.. guess i'll have to diy myself one. And the mini jack inputs don't cope too well, after trying a few different cables they seem to lose tightness. Or maybe it's just me... on the bright side the battery lasts freakin long.. i've just had to recharge my batteries for the first time today smile.gif

I have 5v DC <500mA power source but I want my output is 3v DC >200mA.
Anybody have the simplest solutions for me?
Use your imagination to put as less component as you can to fit inside the 2.5mm monojack jacket.  sweat.gif

Hey i finally caught hold of my fren today. According to his calculations 400 Ohm and 600 Ohm you shuold 3v output. About how much mA he is not so sure though. Was this the way u connected the last time you tried?

|_| 400 Ohm
|___________ 3V

|_| 600 Ohm

categg,
I don't believe on 400 Ohm and 600Ohm. Are him sure what he is calculating? How about the formula webpage that I gave you before?

Well it did seem convincing enough to watch him count on paper... i met him in person so we didn't went online. Oh well u still can give it a shot and see how it turns out.. if it works then good lar.. haha tongue.gif
