wow..gave panadol to a cat...i've read somewhere that said never to give any human medicine to animals...its like poisoning them..

btw..any of u guys have any experience in bonding 2 kittens...both mine used to get together very well but i've to separate them for a month as 1 of them infected with fungus...now she is ok n i tried to introduce them slowly also can not...they will juz start quarrel with each other when i let them both go out...end up, i've to let them out 1 by 1 n they seem to tease each other thru the playpen fences..when i let them out together they will start chasing n biting each other...at first i thought they are juz playing but later they will start wrestle with loud voices too....hope u guys can help me here...tq

Have you bathed both of your cats yet? The other cat might smells weird so they are not accepting each other? For now I guess just let them out under supervision, and you have to play with them together. They should be fine and slowly adapt back to it in a month time.
It's all DSH.

thnx for the advice...i bathed both of them currently with malaseb as one is still recovering and the other one did show some points of being infected too at his tail end...the vet juz asked me to bathed them both with malaseb....so i took ur advice n play with them together...they will only fight when i let them play by their own..hehe...thnx again icon_rolleyes.gif

i've also did some diy water filter using a big bowl n aquarium water filter but u still need to change the water every couple of days or u will find some mosquitoe larvae in it...seemed the pump will not suck up the larvae with the water..

why dont u give the antibiotic directly? did vet ask to put in their food? It's difficult to give directly as almost cat will resist. but there is techniques for that and i have been taught the techniques by a vet. i have done it to my mom's cat (about 10 years old) and my cat which was spayed last month about 6 month old.
*
the vet did showed me n my wife the technique but i juz couldn't get it rite...dats why i decided to make it into small pieces...tried wet food also they only smell n lick a bit then went off...dunno if have problems with their nose because of their 'selsema'.

Here
[attachmentid=2690077]
Open your cat's mouth
[attachmentid=2690081]
Hold the pill with thumb and index finger and insert the pill from side of her mouth deepest you can insert, if not deepest enough the cat can spill out.
[attachmentid=2690091]
Quickly close her mouth with two hands until u feel the cat swallow the pill. If the cat resist usually by reversing or escape backward, so u need to hold its back with your body or with someone help. My cat omei has no problem eat pill. If the pill is big, break it into two pieces. Thanks to Omei for being model.

Boiled fish has strong smell, i boiled the fish with pressure cooker for half an hour, so that the bone is soft like sardine. I keep in fridge, evertime i want to feed i take out the fish and pour some hot water so that the temperature is ok.
*
thnx so much for the lesson...it is very helpful of u to provide me with these pictured instructions...thnx again...will also find science ad for both lilo n stich...smile.gif

hi guys...does anyone here knows where to buy holistic feline caviar with good price around klang valley?.....before this the pet shop @ shah alam sold to me the 6kg pack for 120++...now it has new packaging n weight only 5.5 kg n the pet shop sells it for about 190 before discount....they said now it is grain free for a reason the price went up....i've to buy it as i can't find other pet shop that sell it around shah alam n my supplies for both my kittens were running low too..

juz don't want to change food again as i can see my kittens love it n they seem to get healthier each day...tq

so this is my cat 'stitch'....he juz got neutered last weekend so i've some questions based on your experiences..

1)how long do i have to quarantine him in the cage as i have another cat that i let roam free?....my wife said at least 10 days but so kesian seeing him keep on meowing everytime he saw me..thinking of giving him bath too as he peed in his carrier the day i brought back from the vet..

2)my wife also told me dat neutered cat can still make other cat pregnant...so we need to separate them at least 20 days...is it true?....kinda google it but can't find any info...

my other cat is female named 'lilo' btw...so yesterday i've decided to let stitch go out n put lilo in the cage....he seems so happy as Siamese really like to run n jump everywhere..hehe....but now stitch is back in the cage n lilo outside....mayb i'll only let stitch outside when i'm home

n this is 'lilo' happy.gif

You should spay the female cat first only then neuter the male because you wouldn't want she got pregnant.
*
i think its ok as they are only indoor cats...hehe

actually decided to neuter the male 1st coz he's the 1 who 1st showing the sign of gatal cat...while playing together can see he sumtimes like to get on top of the female cat like wanna mate...luckily no accident.... my female cat also haven't showed any 'on heat' signs..
