tested the phone last Friday.its pretty smooth as i expected.so who is going to queue for the phone this Friday?

ya,no way.everything zune,microsoft,windows,ms office,fully eloped.

my fren got same response vf u all.they got nothing to write about windows phone other than smooth and fast.the hardware is even better than software coz most of my fren said:looks like N9,black colour,cool!dedicated camera shutter key,nice!curve screen looks good!aiks....

those iphone user are totally bias.they look "NOKIA",their first response is :Nokia?sure rubbish.then i show them how smooth is 800 then they start comparing vf iphone.got line or not?got viber?is it backlit sensor?aiks...
try not hardcore smartphone user but in their mind there are only 2 brands which is apple or samsung.then i failed to convince them again.the N9 reli different case coz got swipe ui.

of coz i educate and show them the advantages in 800.but somehow i fail to convince them.what to do?

Introduction
The CEO of Nokia-Stephen Elop announced Symbian is a burning platform and decided to choose over Windows Phone to replace the Symbian as high end OS for Nokia in year 2011. Besides that, Microsoft gave the authority to Nokia to customize the Windows Phone to differ with other Windows Phone devices like HTC,Samsung,LG and etc. So,whats the main advantage of Windows Phone vs Symbian and whats the comparable advantage for Nokia WP7 vs other manufacturers WP7?

Outlook,Design
The outlook and design is the most attractive and adorable Nokia device i ever see.(exactly same desing as the N9) Beautiful curved screen with clear black display is extremely exclusive and unique.The Nokia Lumia 800 is simply attractive with the very thin design. I would rate it by mark instead of word to describe the outlook and design more straight forward. I rate it 9.5/10. In addition, the 3.7" AMOLED with WVGA resolution(480x800 pixels) provide the stunning and beautiful video playback, browse picture, and gaming experience. The screen continues to impress outdoors under the bright sunlight too - it remains perfectly visible. The hands on feel is extremely nice to hold.


Maps
The Nokia Lumia 800 is preloaded with Nokia Maps. Compare to other os like Android,iPhone,Blackberry, it is so obvious for Nokia Maps own the crown in mobile phone mapping navigation. I had experienced the performance since Nokia N8. The Nokia Lumia 800 maintain the great performance mapping navigation of previous Ovi Maps on all Symbian 3 devices with improvement. Better UI, 3D map view are all improvement from previous version-Ovi Maps. Unfortunately, there is no option for shorter route, faster route or optimized. Hope the coming firmware update will provide this option.


Social Network Integration (People Hub)
One of the best social network integration i ever experience. Simply amazing,simple. The facebook chat integrate in the phone like message. Whenever i receive facebook message, it will pop up like message, ring like message. It not even need to activate any 3rd party application to chat with my friend in facebook. FYI,only 2 OSes integrate the Facebook chat into the default message without opening the 3rd party application - Meego and WP7. The 3rd party application for facebook chat usually drain battery fast (Nimbuzz and IM+) but with Nokia Lumia 800 the integrated facebook chat won't drain battery fast. It is very convenient indeed. Besides that, the contacts and Facebook friend list are combined in the People, it's so easy when u want to check your Facebook's friend's picture by clicking People and search the name so the picture, profile and newest update can be easily follow by u without launch a 3rd party application which is time consuming.


Web Browser
Although it's only 1.4Ghz ARM A8 single core, compare to most of the web browsing experience for any dual core devices or same processor devices in the market, the Mango web browsing experience is better. It's so fluid without any hang, lag and most importantly it never crash. Smooth scrolling and pinch to zoom is the one of the best browser i experience among all mobile phones. Too bad it didn't support the flash but i hope future firmware update will update the browser with flash support.


Camera
The camera part also one of the most wonderful thing in Nokia Lumia 800. f/2.2, 28mm wide angle lens, 8 megapixel Carls Zeiss optic capable to snap stunning image in the day or night time. The video quality snapped by Nokia Lumia 800 is amazingly wonderful. Most importantly, the camera UI for Nokia 800 is very much improve from Nokia N8 and also one of the best in camera phone territory. Easy to use, simple, nice and beautifully designed.

Marketplace
Marketplace is catching up with Apple Appstore and Android Google Play. Now the Marketplace increasing rapidly from last season (2011 Q4) 40k applications to this season (2012 Q1) 55k applications. A lot of addictive games like Angry Birds, Plant vs Zombies, Need For Speed also available in the Marketplace. Furthermore, the very useful social network app like whatsapp also available in the Marketplace for free download now. Marketplace is highly potential and i personally looks good to its future.

Final Words
For the comparison's sake, the WP Mango powered device Lumia 800 is a huge improvement from Symbian device for the fludity, smoothness, simple UI, better browser, more applications choice. Its a worthy upgrade from Symbian to Nokia Lumia devices. Besides, compare to the other WP Mango devices, the Lumia device has everything in the other brand WP devices as well but additionally Nokia added Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive which is life time free navigation and best mapping navigation solution. It's a huge add value for Lumia device and important factor for you to buy it.
