There are only 2 things I wanted from Nokia and that is, Nokia Maps and camera. But I read Lumia has lousy Nokia Maps compared to Symbian/Nokia Maps. True?

Something must be running in the background sucking battery life. Nokia Maps? Or may even be faulty email program forever trying to send email but failed.

It was reported that Maps need Internet connection to work. For Drive, there is no need for the connection and relies solely on preloaded maps. You people can confirm this because this would be a deal breaker.

If true, then I would look at N9 but that one don't seems to have editor for the Microsoft Office documents. So N9 is all play and no work phone?

Then it is confirmed. Lumia 800 navigation system is stupid in the sense that you don't need Internet connection for Drive but you need it for Maps. Especially because the maps are already inside the phone. Simply don't make any sense.

Added on February 25, 2012, 9:19 amYou need data for 2 purposes:
1. AGPS. Use to acquire faster satellite lock. Small data of about 10KB or 10 sen. But you can disable it and it will still lock onto satellite but slower.
2. Maps. Downloading maps and this will be in MB in size. 1 MB without contact will cost you RM10. Lumia need it for Map but not for Drive. Crazy.

Bug or feature, to me, that's a deal breaker. I am interested in either the N9 or Lumia 800. One got great Maps but no office document productivity tools. The other got lousy Maps that requires internet connection. Guess I will be buying neither.

Does Skype runs on Lumia 800?

Does Lumia 800 got Mandarin handwriting text input without additional apps?

Some reports say it use microSIM but other say normal SIM. So what type of SIM card it use?

Does Swype work on it?

Does it means, you can't plug your phone and Window Explorer can see it as another HDD? And cut & paste or copy & paste a file from the phone to your pc and vice versa?

So unlike Nokia Symbian that has 2 choices, Nokia Suites or Window Explorer to move files etc, you only have Zune?

Once you transferred file to pc using zune, I presume you can use WE to see the files? Things that are important to me are photos/contacts/calender. I have no interest in music.
