QUOTE(zidane28 @ Apr 26 2012, 10:29 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Cons? 1. No bluetooth file transfer. File trnasfer can only be done though a software called Zune. 2. No Front Facing Camera for this baby. 3. No USSD support at this monemt. Means you can't *118#. But celcom is ok though coz *124# is working. 4. Not as many apps as iOS but that is due to developers still didn't see the potential of Windows Phone... 5. Non-Replaceable battery. 6. No extra memory support means no microSD support.
Pros? 1. Easy to use and elegant interface. 2. Fast and fluid. Very little lag you will see unlike Android. You will the very different if you migrate from old Symbian phone. 3. Even though not as many apps as iOS and Android, but seriously how many you will use? With about 10k of apps in the marketplace, your dad will still have a lot to choose~ 4. The Gorilla glass is scratch resistance, means basically you don't even need to buy screen protector. But even so plz don go do this resistance testing by scratching the screen with your keys... 5. Polycarbonate cover. The color is for the whole body. Means even if you scratch the body, the color will be the same. 6. Different from others. When you show this phone among all the other flooding IPhone and Androids, even they will be amaze by the design and beauty of this phone. 7. Ya...I know...No extra memory and only 13GB of storage (3GB is use for the OS itself) but hey, you have 7GB of free storage on skydrive that come free with Hotmail ID. And frankly, how many songs and picture you need to put inside a phone? 8. Social integration. Facebook, Twitter and Linkdln are built in with Windows Phone. You can straight away update your FB status, check What's New and notification, send photo straight away to FB, Twitter and email. 9. Built-in Office. Means you can edit pr view your doc on the go...For free! 10. Free Nokia Maps and Drive. Means free GPS, no need buy Garmin already~
But seriously, if your dad can wait, why not wait for Lumia 900? It has Front Facing Camera and bigger screen~
Will be launch in few months if I'm not mistaken...Maybe got promotion like free things as well. If you buy now like not worth it leh~ One thing I do not like about Lumia 900 is that the screen glass is slightly pop out >< Btw, is it true that Lumia 900 doesn't have Stereo FM radio? (I saw it from the specifications listed on Nokia official website). What are the other features that Lumia 900 did not have as compared to Lumia 800? Ty^^

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ May 2 2012, 11:41 PM) Just put Rm10 or RM20 enough for your transaction. I dun understand o.O I thought credit card is sending bill to me one? U mean debit card which I can set the amount of money in that card? I still not sure how debit card works on this? I register debit card no along with wwindows live id, then bill will be sent to me? I dun understand about the RM 10 or 20 transaction thing? I though credit card is like u have RM 5000 quota then you can spend maximum RM 5000 using that card, while debit card depends on your bank saving account? How can I have saving account with only RM 10 to 20 all the time? Unless I open a new bank account... Is that what you meant? Thank you^^

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ May 3 2012, 12:46 AM) no u can use the ATM + debit card to do online transaction. So if your bank account got RM10 - RM20 then thats all it can deduct. Yea u can open a new account and request for your ATM card with debit card. Dont use your primary savings account. One of the forumer said he dont have credit card so alternative use a debit card. If you have a normal credit card then it will appear on your monthly statement. But I can still use the method in https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2125261 if I'm using debit card? Cuz I'm more likely to use a SG id. Or it won't affect me since I'm doing online transaction? Thank you^^

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ May 25 2012, 02:19 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Wau, it's super nice! Do you have any tutorial in this forum that teach others how to shoot amazing photos? Btw, I'm planning to buy Lumia 800 during PC Expo at Mid Valley. Need urgent recommendation: Should I wait for the pricedrop after Lumia 900 is out or should I buy it straight away tomorrow since it comes with nokia purity headset. And what is the cut-off price that I should not buy it now even if it comes with all those free gifts? One last question, what do I need to take note of if I'm buying Lumia 800? Anything that I should check on the phone? Thank you^^ This post has been edited by DavidWKW: May 25 2012, 07:42 PM
