you can only install apps using zune direct through zune marketplace , but you can't download nor install those xap file like ios ipa, android apk did. storing in your pc for future installations.

sure, wp7 allow you to login google ID & mails to sync contacts, calendars..etc
   with live skydrive 25GB we can store and sync all files (photos,videos,documents..etc) between PC new SkyDrive clients for PC and Mac    |

Evernote wp7 also got.
With Integrated Office Hub we can create any note save to SkyDrive or phone for later download editing ..etc |
