race was red flagged by the officials for that reason, so that they don't need to rush and he can get immediate medical attention. I don't see a paramedic or a doctor anywhere in the footage. It looks like they sent a bunch of part time race stewards to put him on a stretcher and carry him to the ambulance. Not making a blunt accusation, but that looks like the case from the video.
Considering the serious nature of the accident, moving him without securing him or assessing his condition was a big mistake. Dropping him is unbelievable.
According to my foreign friends who attended the GP,your assessment is correct.Considering the serious nature of the accident, moving him without securing him or assessing his condition was a big mistake. Dropping him is unbelievable.
They rushed to drag the body onto the stretcher and when they lifted him it wasn't synchronized so he fell headfirst on the ground.
Some of the people who attended are hardcore GP fans who travel simply to attend and they witnessed everything as it wasn't far from the main grandstand using binoculars.
