Didn't dare to play top speed as I was actually seriously in a hurry that time.

Surely top speed kalah kaw-kaw as the TDCi stock HP is only 130HP... actually at 180km/h the Type R already started to pull away slowly. But there's always an obstacle infront (lorry slow car etc) so he still has to slow down a lot. That is when the TDCi really shines.

Maybe he thought I want to race with him.. I don't know. But seems like he is in a hurry as well.

By the way my car is stock standard. No remaps.. not even sunat yet LOL. But speed at 200km/h sure is stable though since then I've yet drive the car anymore than 130km/h.

I can hit 210km/h, no issue. Only mod to date is sunat and K&N drop in. With a little bit more road, can probably hit 220km/h.

This car is not "lembik" at all. Not sure why gahpadu mention it is lembik. A few weeks ago, met a Mitsubishi Airtrek Turbo, whack the fella kaw kaw. Did the drag test twice, and twice he lost. It was a short distance drag with traffic light in between. Not sure if the fella mod anything, but i did hear it's blow off valve.

I switched from GT4 to TDCi.. migrated from FI petrol to FI diesel a kind of culture shock to me . As I mentioned , low rew diesel engine gave me a kinds of lembik feelingĀ  for the first few days driving a TDCi .

I think you have the same issue as most of us when switching over from petrol to diesel. Flooring the pedal does not give you that oomph that petrol car has, because inherently TDCi torque band is around 2k rpm. Try stepping the pedal at 25% instead of flooring it completely. The torque kick in is quite fun. I do 25%, 50% and 75%, trying to keep my rpm at the optimum torque range.

Diesel engine does not have the inherent high revving feature a petrol head has. Anyway, torque aside the car is a mileage monster. One tank can go at least 700km, and you can still speed like a speedy gonzales.
