Hi, i'm driving wira 1.6xli Automatic, with LCP, NGK plug cables, bosch platinum +4 spark plug, powerzone 4-2-1 and adjustable cam gear, the rest is stock.. cam gear is adjusted towards more on low end, what else is recommended to gain more torque on low end?

change to manual gearbox? tongue.gif

your exhaust piping make sure same as stock so as not to sacrifice the torque for low end.
*
Might change to manual if gearbox reaches the end of life span.
If i remove catalytic converter, will this affect my low end power?

My experience is improvement in low end.
Open pod air filter improve high end. (or was it the sound that makes it feel more aggressive, haha)
Bigger muffler improve top speed.

Well this is felt when I'm still using 4g15p. As for now, a std 2.5" piping is good with two resonator and an oval shape muffler.
*
oh, then this sounds good since i'm already planning to get rid of the cat-con.
btw i'm using steel mesh drop in filter, i have tried open pod and the low end became really horrible, i had to switch back to stock setup with oem paper filter and instantly can feel some dramatic improvement.

sometimes those chapalang open pod or drop in aftermarter air filter will worsen your air intake after some time.

No more chapalang for me biggrin.gif

I am deciding to go for highcam, can some experienced dudes here let me know how much difference does it make and do i also require to install a fuel pressure regulator as well?

Fuel regulator normally is an optional upgrade

Get those fast street cams around 262-272 duration
*
Pipercam are about 286 from what i read correct me if i'm wrong, will it perform nicely in a 4g92 sohc (A)?
Oh and is it safe to purchase 2nd hand camshafts?

286 to be honest is kind of high, it won't suit your auto tranny at all
Due to the fact that the main powerband will start at very high rpms let's say 5000? You might need to remove the rev cut as well as stock 4G92P ECU has a rev cut at
6800rpm

For street driving, just better stick to 268/272 camshafts smile.gif
*
Thanks for the information there, my objective is to gain more on low rpms, will any camshafts help much? If there are other ways to do so i would like to know how..

If it is low rpm, best is still your stock camshaft
But if you go with 268/272 cams, use an adjustable cam pulley to advance the cam timing to move the powerband more towards low to mid
*
I'm currently using adjustable cam pulley, tuned to advance, the feeling is there thumbup.gif but still not enough for me, any other ways besides forced induction to gain?

Is it possible to swap 4g92 crankshaft to that of 4g93 to increase stroke? Will the pistons hit the head if i were to use back my conrods? And is 4g91 conrods shorter than 4g92?

Agreed with xxboxx.
Can't easily swap crankshaft because of block tallness.
But maybe can rojak with shorter conrod to make the piston sits lower.
*
That is what i was thinking, 92 block, 93 crankshaft and 91 conrods. If its possible i might put these in consideration.

I got a problem occasionally, sometimes when i try to start the car the engine is not responding, i just hear something that sounds like a very small electric motor running when i hold on the fully turned key, everytime this happens i have to wait like 3mins then only i can start the car. Anybody experienced this before? What seems to be the problem?

I planned to custom my intake system using the carbon charger airfilter thingy, including direct cold air intake, i want to know if there is any difference in torque band between when i place the filter closer to the throttle or when i place the filter at the end of the intake hose directly mounted at the opening at the bumper? Which set up will increase velocity more?

I noticed a problem recently, my throttle feels soft sometimes and at times feels stiff. It felt so powerful when the throttle turns soft, but recently it became very stiff and i felt like i lost a lot of power or maybe its just an illusion. Is there any solution to this?

Can any gearbox pros here recommend me a good auto 4speed gearbox for my wira 1.6? Because my current 1 is dying, leaking GB oil all over my garage, refuses to down shift when slowed down or it takes too long to down shift, and sometimes goes into free gear while in D when i throttle hard. Get Mitsubitshi GB from halfcut shop or original 2nd hand? Also i was told by a friend that my thomas cup edition wira is using 1.8 gearbox, is that true?

Can halfcut F4A212 fit with 4g92p engine? How is the availability of this gearbox?

It is gearbox from 4g91... Yes, can fit... But the ratio is different... Expect some changes in gear change and rpm... smile.gif
*
Is it good for acceleration? since the gear ratio is known to be shorter?
