Just got the ride lowered by using APM Performax Springs couple with APM OEM absorbers.....anyone using these springs and is it really true that these springs will soften like hell after 6 month or so?

I recheck some feedbacks from previous threads and people say these APM springs are like mother of all saggy springs, lousy quality and so on....

Spring or absorber ? I use APM Performax absorber and it really lousy quality, lose it's dampening capabilities after 6 or 9 months. Now it's like no absorber already, even on highway my car is bouncing up and down like riding a horse.. doh.gif

The spring is thick or not? If thick I don't think it will easily saggy.

Absorbers aren't the APM Performax ones, just the standard OEM ones without the Performax name...because that's what on the box says....total for 4 (2 oils and 2 gas at RM280)

Spring thickness should be better compared to the old ones but here's the pictures of the APM Performax Sport Springs and can't judge much....

Front (lowered by 2.5 fingers, can confirm)
Front

Rear (lowered by 0.5 fingers in think)
Rear

Ride is hard but i like that, feels firm and stable....compared to the old springs and absorbers..

I nvr use GAB SS so dunno good or not, but from what I heard is not bad. Monroe also good absorber.
You use lowered spring  of coz will be harder but the best part is when cornering very stable. thumbup.gif

Looks thick enough, about the same as mine.

So far, it's been good and considered i got them springs at RM130 for 4 at spare part shop...just hope there aren't any imitation ones only....

Just love the firm feeling on the highways and during bends when exiting highways.....

Just hope anyone who uses these springs can give feedback would be much fun.....

I have seen Wira sedans sporting Evo 3 tail lamp which is possible.

This is the original Evo III lamp right?

I think on an A/B also can if you got the money to play with..

SE and normal Wira bumper (with or without foglamps) are the same size & and length.....what lip you can use on SE you can also use on normal Wira bumper and vice versa

They just have different design which is only cosmetic but normally SE lips looks better on SE bumper but i want to fix a normal lip Putra on a SE bumper but cannot imagine how good / bad will it look...tried looking for pictures but no avail....

Now currently i am sourcing for the SE / Putra front lip, SE rear lip and SE skirting....got friend want to sell but still looking for better option....

Dim headlights? Battery enough juice or not?

Bulb maybe but never use those RM15 ones before, i used Osram, Philips with prices around RM48 per set but not less than that. Currently using 4300K Philips Crystal Vision for RM78 but rain like usual, like no headlamps at all but got spotlight cover.

15" will set you back at least for RM700 ++ for non branded new ones and Japan branded ori ones will be at least RM1100 ++

Tyres depends on what brand, but should be at least RM180 per piece. Prepare to fork out at least RM1300 for all 4 change including cone, nuts, stainless steel valve, balance, alignment and other things

This grill looks more ricer but i like it very much.

Fast signal is the usually front or rear bulb blown....small side one will not cause the fast blinking one. Change to LED and problem solve for a long2 time but will be costly.

Mine still normal bulb for front and rear...only side is LED

Saw one Wira using LED for signal bulb at rear, bright and far far away already can see but it's pure white which is not legal..... definitely not bulb because bulb still will be slightly yellowish white....

Unsure whether he using LED bulb or not because i just saw it like that when following the car.....if can do i want to use all LEDs for the car's lighting...except the main headlight lorrr

If you love your mum, buy her a new car and keep the Wira for a monster project for yourself.
