Guys, normally how much it cost to service the throttle body?...
The shop i usually go for engine oil change quote me RM110 for cleaning the TB + Reset ECU + Fuel filter (if not mistaken its)...is this a reasonable price?...
As my car is at his workshop right now, so thinking of servicing the TB if the price is okay...

Seriously?...seems like i can buy the stuff and DIY...

yesterday i drove my dad's car and 'lenjan' till 140kph for quite a time.suddenly, the engine indicator appear on the meter.is there any problem,overheating for example?

and one more thing is that what are the difference ar? saw some ppl selling RM80-90 for one Defi Link meter, some can reach 180 for one..haha..

U should know 4g15 and 4g91 different right?

I not 100% confirm la, coz I got ask from few gb guy... 91 and 15 gb different but can modify... Driveshaft different, clutch plate different, flywheel different, (then got few say starter different and some say same)... Yup, all 1.5, 1.6, and 1.8 can use gb for each other but few of those above things need to be changed... Just sharing, sorry if I'm wrong...

is it okay ah.. light foot , only few time hit hard on throttle.
speed around 80-90 ( follow speed limit ma)
just trip from kulim- penang can hit 110 BKE highway
owh yeah..
here it come again..

nope. that taken when i stop at traffic light.
it light up before that.

but when i turn off engine, then on back, that light is gone.

erm. bout that suddenly engine turn off. happen once before, just seconds after that light turn on.
sked woo.. car die in the middle of road.


that brake light, no problem.
i pull my handbrake on traffic light to snap this picture.

Its the same thing with brake oil right? I've just got it changed three weeks ago.
When the check engine light comes on, that is when the jerking comes on as well. Either it jerks or the throttle just simply went ineffective. Step on the gas pedal, but no respond. Any similar problems like this you've encountered/heard before dude?

1k u have problem edi...

Max is 850rpm lowest is 750rpm by factory spec. Stepper motor should be at 30-70 step max and load not more than 30.

the best to cheat target idling is to set it slowly when engine is off... ... adjust a bit then start the car and wait n see....slow but it works where it doesnt screw up the target idling for parking the stepper motor
