Anyone did rim repair and alignment at Tek Ming Sunway? I know for my 16" rims is rm 35 each but alignment and balancing how much? I'm thinking of going next Monday since its near my uni but not sure how much cash to bring along.
*
Used to do Alignment and Balancing there.......is roughly RM2 or RM4 more expensive then other places.....

Usually they will say ur rim problem lah...or not nice liao.....will ask you to repair ur rim when ever they do balancing......

Standalone of course will be better, but I can say that there isn't a no.1 management, an ECU tuning is as good as the tuner him/herself

But relay only if the ori wire unable to supply enough current right. If the carbon inside the starter no more add relay also can't fix it.

Since ord know the started cause the problem.....just change the starter will do... tongue.gif

The clip and the clip holder is different between mitsu and proton.
Better buy 4 pot brake set than Wira 1.6/1.8 brake set coz now Wira brake set also very expensive.
*
Other option you can get is Evo 123 Twin Pot Brake....sufficient enough for our daily use.....

I upgrade from 1.6 -> Evo Twin Pot -> GTO 4 Pot......Make sure your RIM offset enough to clear the 4 Pot...so plan properly your upgrade route tongue.gif

And make sure to upgrade your Brake Servo to Evo Double Layer Brake Servo.......

Wira/ Mitsu staff are hiking from day to day......

QUOTE(GKWong @ May 5 2012, 03:38 PM)
brake so grip but if tyres sucks and without ABS then will also die  tongue.gif
Btw, our Wira can be mod to have ABS or not? from the fuse box got a place for ABS fuse there  hmm.gif  Maybe the exported version got ABS?
*
Fully agreee.....last time when i just upgraded to Twin Pot...with Lousy Stupid tyre.....wet road condition.....was driving around 50km/h...then traffic light......jam brake...skid all d way...scare the motorist...use leg to move the motor...muahahahah

Hi, anyone here upgrade their clutch to 1.8 before or not? Need to seek for advise.

Is there anything i need to take note for upgrading? As i heard there will need to do something on the flywheel to enable it to fit in?

Or can i just upgrade my flywheel to 1.8????

Hi, any Wira with n/a engine using twin pot brakes? Thinking of getting it and have asked the workshop... they say just buy better quality brake pads is enough, rather than change to twin pot coz twin pot lock tires easily unless u are using turbo engine which is heavier...
*
Confirm Twin Pot will lock your tyre very easy for the first time when you change it. You need sometimes to learn the braking power.

QUOTE(xxboxx @ May 10 2012, 01:38 PM)
You want to change clutch plate or flywheel to 1.8 one?

if not mistaken 1.8 clutch plate can fit without doing any mods. flywheel not so sure..
if you're using 1.5, you need to change the master brake pump to double layer coz the ori is not enough power for twin pot. Lock or not depends how you press the brake, but if engine is standard the additional stopping power is not necessary.
*
I want to change 1.8 Clutch. Heard my foreman say need to do some drilling into the Flywheel so that it can fit nicely. Just wanna do one time, since i'm changing my gb to Mivec.....better do it one shot.....

Since your foreman say need.drill, I'm sure he know what he's doing.

Mivec gearbox sure very expensive. How much you got it for?
*
Don't feel comfort to drill on flywheel..since is a high speed thing and heavy thing........

hmmm.....kind of expensive Mivec GB....almost RM2k

You considered lucky to get a MIVEC GB at almost RM2k
Ppl will be selling it at 3k minimum nowadays
*
Hmmm i get include together with Drive Shaft.....easier....so now dilemma should upgrade to 1.8 clutch or not? Xian...

QUOTE(Shortyeyek @ May 11 2012, 11:33 AM)
Just wondering that our normal brake servor change to double layer geh can improve braking meh? If yes i might want to get one. Btw, what will improve?
*
Increase brake servo will minimize your Bracking Power.... last time you need to use 30% of you power to stop the car....after upgarde maybe you just need 20% or 15% of power to stop your car.
