Next time when you install things, try not to put them into your C:\ drive. Treat it like your computer ^^

imageshack down? duh...what website you guys use to upload your photos?
*
I use tinypic for fast uploading for forums. But if you want to have a collection for your photos, get an account in imageshack/flickr/etc etc

Wow, saw this thread under Active Threads in Lowyat's main page. Long live N8 tongue.gif

Let's see whether Nokia can keep the "Nokia 801" slim with the powerful camera.

Added on February 22, 2012, 8:20 amAnyone willing to try this CFW? It claims to have an "improved" camera for Belle.

-----Better camera quality both Photo & Video
Very IMP- the Camera mod posted contains the never posted anywhere mod including settings for camera as 12Mp (4:3), 9Mp (16:9), 8Mp (4:3), 6Mp (16:9), 5Mp (4:3), and 0.3 (4:3)

my own personal edits carefully remastered as special for new Belle.
works flawlessly for Crisp n Sharp photos with better noise cancellation in any mode.
both for pics n vids.

Try it n feel the power of the best mobile camera that is N8, yet.

If you are using this mod in your CFW please credit me, I had flashed almost around 60-70 times alone for this camera mod testing.

nice shots

..hmm..no othrt way to bring up camera quality back rather than flash cfw?
*
I'm still skeptical that flashing would make it work. I'll try a few cfws this weekend and confirm if it does work. Why would Nokia want to release an update which degrades the camera quality of their cameraphone? Definitely they should be having some problems with Belle or probably Belle is still too immature to be released for everyone.

Will there have any problem to upgrade back after downgrade the phone?
Thinking of downgrade to see the difference cos i got the phone as Belle.
*
Not that I know of. go ahead. But you'll have to know how to flash through Phoenix.

My battery ran out a few days ago whilst I was using the gps thingy - kaputt, 0, nichts, flat.  Went back to the hotel and found I could not charge it at all.  But when I got back home and connected it to my desktop  on the USB connection, it began charging.  Does this mean I must on no account let my battery run out if I want to charge it using the charger?
*
Was there a white light next to your microUSB port? Are you sure it really wasn't charging? On Belle, the battery icon when our phone is off when it's being charge is really small. And no, it's not supposed to happen.
Not good to let your battery drain off till 0%.

wish and wish  biggrin.gif  , now, Nokia 808 will be released, they will abandon the N8 tongue.gif  , because N8 maybe won't get the update[FP1 Belle]
*
Yeah, but we still have hackers to do the work for us. Much faster than waiting for Nokia to release theirs tongue.gif

Most probably N8 will not get this FP1 since it's processor is not 1GHz. However if it reaches 1.3GHz it might be a good thing for budget hunters like me. biggrin.gif

Or we could pray for the CFW cookers to port over FP1 to us. biggrin.gif

Try Symbian 4 Xeon 3.2.2 if you want to try a new CFW. Recently updated with the modded FP1 task manager.
Feels very stable in my opinion biggrin.gif
