QUOTE(Eoma @ Feb 17 2012, 11:47 AM) whatsapp is the biggest battery drainer for me. Can u provide the photos u believe got problem so we can identify the issue with it?camera sifus: I notice that your pictures are incredibly sharp. I've checked for "dirty" lenses etc but my photos are never as sharp as yours (but generally sharp / sharper / impressive compared to normal compact camera / other smartphones). Of course most of my shots are via automatic settings. Do you guys always use manual settings ? tripod ? etc ? or did my numerous drops of the phone somehow "degraded" the camera quality ? |

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Feb 17 2012, 12:50 PM) You mean, even with this official Belle, the N8's camera has been degraded. The only reasons I kept my N8 is due to the Maps and Camera. I mean if you dont really look at fine details its not obvious i am very picky of my photos so just a glance i can tell.Example this taken by belle ![]() Nokia N8 @ Waterdrops by JTproductions, on Flickr This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Feb 17 2012, 12:58 PM |

Sorry no lens ever use on the nokia N8. I dont have a macro lens btw i only have 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8
The secret lies in understanding megapixels. here my work on the Nokia Lumia 800 from yesterday outing without any post processing and no additional lens ever used. http://www.flickr.com/photos/thenokiagalle...9608885/detail/ This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Feb 19 2012, 01:58 AM |

QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 21 2012, 09:02 AM) Yeah just tested moment ago..On max zoom, the in-focus (Green box) achieving ~ 9cm from object and if I zoom out to normal posistion, the in-focus point stood ~12cm. Haha come for future gathering will share it with you. Learn and understand the rules first then later you can bend the rules as you like. If you follow the rules you will many limitations. Since update to belle taking as close as 2 to 3 cm is a challenge while in pr 1.2 it's a breezeGood idea haha..later I post my findings...Now I know aspire tactic liao..MAX zooming..Later I maz zoom-in +macro len..fuuuuu..I think 2cm also can liao... Anyway of aspire claim can get till 2-3cm..hmnnn still far wor..The best I can get till the "Green Box" prompted is ~ 8cm. |

U wanna test whether the 2 -3 cm find a red ant then try take it. Or best try a mosquito you will know how challenging to take it lol.
Added on February 21, 2012, 9:24 am QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 21 2012, 09:17 AM) I don't think so..Anyway on a digicam and even my NEX5N, I also dun use this feature haha No sacrifice no victory. When u master this art you can apply to any camera regardless the brand or model just might face challenges. The explanation is simple I teach a person to crawl then walk then run. But most ppl want to run then they ask you teach them to run . So how will you understand if you already skip so many steps cheers1.OK..this was taken without zooming..The best ~ 12cm away ![]() 2. Max zooming and the in-focus point reduced to ~ 8-9cm ![]() Haha..really noob to the max Added on February 21, 2012, 9:19 amCan share it here mah..Not everyone free going gathering This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Feb 21 2012, 09:24 AM |

QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 21 2012, 10:39 AM) Unker pangur, you also zoom-in macro? Anyway..the middle part abit out of focus..your hand shaking or got wind..haha Test 4: Outdoors, bright sunlight@aspire...Yeah I tempted to get an 100mm zoom lens liao but too expensive..that lens more than the price of NEX5N!! Sigh.. BTW..how you know N8 got inbuilt ND filter? Even I'm sourcing now for a ND & CPL filters for my NEX haha This test will help to find out how our two cameras behave in bright sunlight. As you can see from the picture taken by the Nokia N8 (left), its Neutral Density filter helps the camera not to overload the sensor. And you can’t say the same about the Xperia’s camera… Source http://www.google.com.my/search?q=nokia+n8...9KM-qrAff0PWzBw Added on February 21, 2012, 10:50 am QUOTE(PangurBan @ Feb 21 2012, 10:42 AM) Very difficult to avoid some shaking when pressing the button - you have to press really hard to get the shutter to snap. My awesome works are special thanks to the shutter button due to it I can only take stunning photos like I did on Nokia lumia 800This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Feb 21 2012, 10:50 AM |

Nokia lumia got physical shutter button. I feel using touch screen shutter very challenging. Manual control haha let's hope the Nokia successor will have that
