I have no idea...
Here's a screenshot:

My total purchase comes to:
Item(s) Subtotal: $215.03
Shipping & Handling: $98.35
Lightning Deal: -$8.50
-----
Total Before Tax: $304.88
I believe this includes 5 separate shipment costs >.<
But its still substantially cheaper than buying from brick and mortar shops here

17 titles x $3.99 per items = $67.83.
Your total $98.35 - $67.83 = $30.52.
That is even more expensive than Priority Shipping!!!

Priority shipping only charge $29.99. Since for Asia & Pacific Islands, Priority shipping is same rate. Expedited Shipping Rates for Asia & Pacific Islands is only $13.99.
So, normally if you order 17 BDs in one order, your total shipping charge for Expedited Shipping is ($3.99 x 17 titles) + $13.99 = $81.82. Thus, $98.35 - $81.82 = $16.53.
You have likely overcharge by Amazon system due to combine orders. Take note, combine the orders, some times may lead to shipping charge incorrectly calculated in Amazon system.
Time for you to write to Amazon CS and ask for refund of $16.53.

Added on November 29, 2011, 10:03 pmSplit your order in multiple shipments, will not change your final shipping charge. Even their split your shipment to 17 shipment, their will charge you the same price as if you ship it at single shipment.
This situation will only change if you ask Amazon to ship as soon as possible when item is available during the checkout process. If you choose this option, shipping charge will change and become higher than you didn't choose this option.
