ive said it before, and ill say it again. except when I said it then you guys said I was wrong for not seeing the value in him

David de gea sucks. I prefer lindergaard.

some of you hacks said that de Gea is good with his legs as if it is a positive. Maybe it is, but I prefer conservative keepers who use their arms and hands to get the ball, like VDS. VDS is good with his legs, but even he wouldn't use his legs in a  situation like last night

all of you are wrong, i was right. but who the effing cares?

You need to understand that DeGea is only 21. This is his first season in England, he just completed one full season in Spain, to become United's No.1 goalkeeper is a huge task for any young goalie. Don't count Joe Hart because he's been playin in England since he started as a goalkeeper. It is very unfair to judge De Gea like that.

Put yourself in his shoes. Your first season in your own motherland, then moving to a foreign land when you can barely speak a proper sentence and even call your own club ManU instead. Give him a chance to establish himself. It's too early to determine his fate. As far as I've seen him, he is talented. His reflexes are sharp, just lacking of experience.

Don't bring in Lindergaard. He's 27 or so. Obviously he got more experience than De Gea. SAF gave De Gea the No.1 jersey for a reason. Why didn't he give it to Lindergaard instead when VDS retired? Because he saw a raw talent in De Gea.

People should really stop criticizing DDG. VDS was pretty wobbly during his first season with United, look at him now. Same concept. Believe in De Gea. He will grow.

yeap, i hate him for that too. he may be quick with his legs, but any keeper who is just as quick with his hands are much better than him.. his tendency to use his legs instead of his (probably slower and weaker hands) is actually a weakness, not a strength. FU to all of those who rooted for DDG so much.. now we lost the UCL already smile.gif

FU with all that he's young bullcrap. GK is the most important position in a team, if the GK can make as much blunder as DDG, then the defense will have no confidence in him thus need to overcompensate for the blunder-ful GK.

any GK that wants to be between the post in a HUGE team like Man Utd has to ready from the get go! Like VDS! DDG has made so many mistakes and costed us the UCL, while Lindergaard doesnt make mistakes.

I stopped reading your stupid excuse post after the first paragraph.

edit: I read it anyway. Yeah, ok, Lindergaard is 27, and GKs can play on longer than 35 as shown by VDS. Since lindergaard has proven to be blunder free and more balanced than DDG, Lindergaard should be no.1

Also, Sir Alex made mistakes in choosing his GKs before, remember after Schemeicle retired? I see taht he is repeating his mistakes, so the fact that DDG is no.1 now is moot.

teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid.. always win by large margin 4-0 , 5-0, a convincing win, nobody can complain about that..

but we only win 1-0, 2-1 most of the time..last week against Villa is a good example... lack of class.. depends on luck only..

ARe u playing football before?? especially in keeper position.. if not please don't comment to much on DDG.. FYI.. legs playing important role to goalkeeper.. the more fastest your legs reflect to the ball movement is the better.. same goes the hand positioning.. hand will also reflect if your legs in good/correct position..because keeper use a lot more legs power to help to punch/catch the ball..

just a quick note here. if im not mistaken from what I read previously in this thread, David de Gea has the most saves compared to any other clubs in the EPL.

this shows something.

our defence is breaking up, and De Gea is there to save our asses countless of times. hard to say Lindergaard doesnt make mistakes alot because SAF doesnt play him as much as how much he play De Gea.

so we can't talk much unless someone has direct contact with SAF to drop De Gea and keep playing Lindergaard.

correct. DDG is a raw talent in GK position.. i watch him during his youth time... the more game he got the more he learn.. Spanish league is skillful league but BPL very robust league.. need more physical power to adapt.. DDG will get his time this season and already prove a lot by his age right now.. we will see nex season.. DDG will be next VDS...

He's probably just a fan boy with no knowledge about football. Such people are a disgrace to football. they can even criticize their own players. So much for a fan.

at the moment it seems like we were put to sleep instead..

confidence is being dent, it can be seen in the player action on the pitch.. its like seeing a different team than that start the season
opposition clearly dont look to hv fear against us anymore.

this is bad. worse than losing to city as thats just one league game 3 poin cry.gif

tbh, at least we're qualified in Europa League. SO all hopes are not lost.

Better than 05/06 season, when we were knocked out from CL and missed the Europa League spot cause we placed bottom in GS.

Yep alot of times we often underestimate the power of fear. After the mauling of City it seems like OT is not as fortress as it seems to be, with the likes of Benfica, Newcastle and Crystal Palace taking points/win here

Well there's always up and down in football and I hope the players will slowly gain back the confidence to the one they have from start of the season. Players injuries are another major concern for us now though sweat.gif
