I'm moving to that area soon and looking for a gym with a squat rack. Prefer a ghetto or small gym than a big chain as I only use the squat rack, bench press and barbell to do press and deadlift. Anyone got any good recommendations?

Actually I don't get why certain gyms dont have squat rack/power rack for that matter.

probably just a general misunderstanding about what a squat actually is, plus if you don't understand what you're doing its easy to get injured, drop weights...most personal trainers don't understand squat technique let alone the average gym goer.

Anyway, still on the hunt...

bcoz maybe machine are more popular? i mean really. not alot of ppl uses them. i only get to see more than 3 ppl using the squat rack properly here in my gym if Im lucky, maybe that's just me.

if can't find any closeby, might as well buy one. coz sometimes wasting the time to get to somewhere and pay so and so a month it's not worth it.

have you check the list of gym thread yet?

Allied Fitness doesn't have a squat rack

Fitness first does, but tbh I really don't like their membership plan because all i use is a squat rack and barbell, don't want to pay for the rest of the stuff there.
