you need to press the vol + first and then home and then power button.

you can switch off your phone first and press the button until u saw the samsung galaxy s i9100 screen and release the button. that's how i done it

Your phone has to be off to use that button combo...make sure it is fully off then hold down the vol and home button then power button

i think got problem....2MB is a very small file...

Still 10 hours is way too long

Unplug n then re-try?

Try using other microusb cables if u have extra. try plugging into other usb port in ur pc/laptop.

could be a faulty usb port too

how hot are we talking about? Try downloading Battery Solo Widget and put it on your homescreen. Tapping it will tell you the temperature

coz hot is very subjective..hot until can boil egg?..follow what reiji says..

get a casing la, confirm you happily use your phone.

Try brazilian wax. It is the best governor in terms of smoothness. 
But i think will not go well with your batt philosophy

Are you using auto brigtness? Do not set the brightness to high. What were you doing when the screen becomes hot?

Guys,if really wan buy new s2.Any advice / suggestion to buy G version or non-g version? Just wan a stable phone only with camera,gaming with good condition.
