QUOTE(aiman39 @ Oct 22 2011, 01:37 PM) Thats is why... data usage and bill shock are always a talking point on smartphones. i've learned in a painful that you need either an unlimited plan (yellow) or cut down your bil limit (green) in order to have a peace of mindHow did they come with that reason? Im really not satisfied with their answers. Try google it around but there is no explanation for this. But they said that it wont turn it on, just at the background it enabled the data without turn on the data. How is that possible? From where they exactly found that. QUOTE(Fallenangelz @ Oct 25 2011, 04:15 PM) thanks guys. i do notice some delay on my whatsapp and friendcaster notifications on 2G compare to 3G. my practice is to always have 2G on, and only switch to 3G when i need to browse. i also turned off all syncs too. that gives me a minimum of 1 day of batt life.Added on October 25, 2011, 4:32 pm QUOTE(nicregi @ Oct 25 2011, 04:28 PM) Well yes it will. hmm. so ideally for 24/7 data i leave it at auto gcm/wcdma than?It affects location too. Imagine you in 2G area coverage and using 3G. Battery will be used even more because it has to work on 2G. Same goes vice versa. Highly depends on area coverage.
