Hi guys, I just bought a new i9100G for my girlfriend. I think the question how do i remove the gmail account is quite popular but mine is slightly different.
My gmail account have very large collection of paid apps. and I want to share it with my girlfriend. So I initially set up my account in her phone. I disable sync of contacts, picasa, gmail and calendar(but calendar manage to get a slight synced time). Then I have created a new account for her. cuz for her contacts and such. i have accessed the market, and she can see all of my paid apps, which is, mission complete. One or two problem though, my calendar that is synced is there in her phone. and i cant seem to make her calendar show up. i can disable my calendar from showing up by selecting My Calendar and unticking mine. but thats for Kies synching. i want her calendar to be synched to google like mine. 2nd thing is, does doing a factory reset remove the apps inside? cuz inside the phone got sygic 3.0 in there. i think it will be gone right? |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 27 2011, 09:02 AM) I believe Samsung will only release firmware update that can optimized Mali 400MP in January not the actual full fledge ICS upgrade :-) you forgot one thing, SGS2 is a revolutionary phone. People use it everywhere. Samsung would be very stupid not to update it, cuz people would skip SGS3 if seeing how their flagship phone not updated.Otherwise Samsung cannot launch SGS3 lor as everybody got ICS on their SGSII..:-P I used to use Desire(a revolutionary single core phone), and HTC said no GB for them cuz sense 3.0 is too big. but in the end, its GB with a compressed sense baked into them. you know, many people are behind it, protesting, complaining. |

QUOTE(TheLaptopDudeGuy @ Oct 27 2011, 09:27 AM) One thing i like about HTC is that it actually listens to the community, like when they lock the bootloader, everyone protest, then HTC decide to unlock it. wish more companies could be like htc *ahem ahem* epal *ahem ahem* haha yeah!anyways, i dont think need to worry abt ics, as im sure the folks at xda are working to make custom roms for sgs2 with ICS QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 27 2011, 09:32 AM) I'm not saying Samsung not going to update ICS for SGSII. What i'm saying is Samsung gonna release new product with ICS on it first. Only then other Samsung phones will receive ICS updates. Samsung is not like Google where it can upgrade its firmware continuously. Samsung is a phones manufacture where its profit come from selling phones and not selling firmwares. If SGSII receive it ICS promptly, there's no need for Samsung to build the new SGS3 then. Well there are still people buying sgs3 cuz of the hardware. 90% of people i know owning a sgs2, they know nothing about android. ape lah lagi Gingerbread and ICS summore. haha. its all about hardware~ they own a beast device and they proud of it. for me, having ICS is the best! ~~just saying~~ |
