hi guise..
im planing to buy
sgsII
but izzit really true
the screen of sgsII
tend to
sum1 telling me b4..
1 more can we change the boring SGSII ui with custom rom?
http://www.techlore.com/article/10099/Do-LCD-TVs-Burn-In-/i sense this is from sensation tered? anyways some facts
yes we do get burn outs, but i believe those using their sgs2 since april, until now half a year still none get this symptom. SGS also uses amoled so you go their forum ask got or not la, i have a friend using one since it came out here and he says none, but in the forums you'll find a few unlucky fellas getting it of course. So its a rare case.
LCD does not get burn in/out but they do get video memory problem.
the quote you quoted is very exaggerating and seriously biased, even if the blue amoled burns out the quickest, i'd take at least 2 years to notice the difference.
and the bluish tone is not that bad as it seems, most of us dont even notice it. those that get very blueish tone are actually defect units, normal screens look white, not yellow not blue, just white and its very hard to even say its blue.
colours saturated? yea i agree its saturated, but i like it, i'm using a phone, not a video/camera, why the hell do i want my launchers and icons to look 'real' they're all fakes/virtual

so i dont really get what those idiots mean by 'fake' . real case: i have a friend who bought sensation same time as me get sgs2, but he always praises my screen, why? as saturated are the colours, it attracts people, they see amoled screen pretty colours with the infinite contrast, and they cant help but wow, something the sensation and iphone can never match. when people see a phone, their first impression is always the screen, and i found many of them wow at size/colours, only mostly iphone users that try to hide it
get both phones and try both phones for yourself, they're all good, and each suits each other likings.
and yes we have tons of custom roms/kernal/themes, and you can bet we're getting that ICS update, just remember to get a non-G version
