QUOTE(KahHoong @ Oct 22 2011, 05:04 PM) anyone using foxhound 2.3? it's quite fast to dry up my battery, charge twice already from yesterday until now, without even turning on 3g, just wifi for few hours... this morning full charge, use 20mins GPS consume about 29% battery life. :S feels like stock rom is better for this. Checkrom is non wipe rom by default,if u wanna make sure everything goes correctly, then u can do factory reset in cwm. remember clear cache and dalvik cache before flashing the rom ps: how can i change to CheckROM? full wipe 1st from foxhound? need factory reset? |

QUOTE(KahHoong @ Oct 22 2011, 05:14 PM) hahaha... will do remember to clear it this time! Not really sure abt what is cache or dalvik cache, but i know that its best to clear it to prevent any possible problems. It doesnt interfere with setups. Factory reset=reset everything to how it was when u just have it, like brand new. It clears out user settings, apps. But music, vids and pics still remain in phone. Factory reset wont remove root. Not sure abt what u mean in the last question, but factory reset doesnt revert phone back to stock rom, the rom on the device before u factory reset will still be the same rom. |

QUOTE(kswong7660 @ Oct 23 2011, 05:30 AM) Bro, the pictures meant nothing. If i tell u that The G version had 2 variant also would u believe it? 1 is made by sam in korea and 1 more is made by sam only. Take a picture of behind the box to support ur claim i tell u guys a very interesting and true story,a customer bought a SGS2 from this guy let's call him mr.A, So mr.A root and flash countless times ofdifferent custom roms cos his cust likes to be different than other's but after around i think almost 2 mths unfortunately shit do happens sometimes (touchscreen freezes occasionally) then mr.A just do his job by helping his cust for warranty and the the funniest thing is when he sold him the new set this mr.A dont even bother to E-register for his customer, and for the warranty portion that has to be sent back to samsung he too just dump it aside and dont even bother to reset the binary counter when sending it to the serv centre and u guys wont believe it if i said that it just took 4 days to get his phone repaired and no question ask I believe that 95% of u guys here at this forum is not a dumb @$$ that don't know how to differentiate between these 2 version of the SGS2, After u finish read this post then maybe u'll realise something Lastly i reconfirm to all of u guys that it's a NON G version, wow 5 am++ liao gotta go to bed already, Good nite guys |

QUOTE(kswong7660 @ Oct 23 2011, 09:01 AM) At the first place i didn't force anyone to buy, just bcos ur box is different then u wanna accuse me of tryin to cheat fellow forumers izzit? Erm yeah u didnt force me to buy,all i just said was take a pic of behind the box to show that it is indeed a non g,i never accussed u of being a cheater. U dont seriously need to get that pissed off till curse me just cause i asked u to take a pic behind the box.and lastly i dont think u are qualified to talk samsung products with me DUDE !!! Edit: I didnt knew that got 2 g version,so that means i suck,i am the most stupid person in the world in terms of phone k? U win,u know more than me,i lose i didnt know that g version got 2 cause everyone here say the way to check is to look behind the box to see whether is g version or not, so i asked u to take a picture to show behind the boxes to support ur claim, that is ur units are non g versions. dont need to overreact lar, some small little thing, theres no need for cursing here and there. one last thing, malaysia ada freedom of speech, so long as i dont tok any sensitive issues, then im fine. so technically, i do have the right to talk samsung products with you This post has been edited by TheLaptopDudeGuy: Oct 23 2011, 09:22 AM |

QUOTE(samurai1337 @ Oct 23 2011, 10:14 AM) I'm quite certain mine is GT-i9100 instead of GT-i9100G. Having g version is not necessarily a bad thing,g version stock rom has better power management, less heat and more games support. but downside is that g version no custom rom or kernel to ply with. But is having G-version necessarily a bad thing? I thought Ti OMAP is the future standard for high-end Android phones |

Anyone havin experience that calendar keeping device awake? i set a reminder n it kept my phone awake for a super long time. Deleting the reminder doesnt help,so i had to freeze it in titanium backup
Added on October 23, 2011, 10:23 am QUOTE(-kytz- @ Oct 23 2011, 10:21 AM) Just one question: G version... is it just as fluid and smooth as the non G version? As in web browsing(biggest priority) and the general User Interface.. Should be smooth as ti omap 4430 is a very powerful processor. This post has been edited by TheLaptopDudeGuy: Oct 23 2011, 10:23 AM |
