Case is about what, RM10? IEMs are RM400, smallest dual dynamic driver IEMs ever lol (also the most I've ever paid for headphones since my now sold TF10).

They're no match for the Radius DDM for pure SQ, but it's arguably a better package for mobile users (smaller, better isolation/comfort, slightly cheaper). And it's liquid as heck.

Plus they actually help the SGS2 sound bearable lol. Even sans impedence adaptor (which I used with my Eternas to, ehm, deepen the sound).

We just need more publishers who care. The games will come.

But, there's still a shitload of stuff I couldn't do with the iP4 that the SGS2 makes short work of (deep system modding, file transfer/sharing, more wholesome browsing experience, blacks that are actually black).

Conversely, there ARE things that the iP4/4S does better (low light photography, music playback quality, that razor sharp - albeit tinny tiny - screen, easier GUI customizibility - really, because winterboard makes it so much easier)).

So rather then bash here and there, WHOEVER'S asking that magic "which one are" question should first ask themselves, what do THEY want from their phone?

Pure specs wise, the iP4 is nowhere near the SGS2 though. And the iP4S is barely there.

Most of them, very much yes. Like Galaxy On Fire 2 HD. The iPhone4 version/normal android version looks like it's a PS2 game while the Tegra one looks like a PS3 version.

Get online from Momax (smart charger and u charger) or any decent Samsung mobile outlets (battery charger stand).

Exportprive also has the charger stands for cheap.

ACTUALLY, it will fit and it charges fine. Just don't close the lid, leave it open. I've even used the stand with my Momax 2700mah batts/spider-foot "3500mah" (only god knows the real cap, now gone down to 2100mah already someone tested), had no problems.

KI1 got green leh? I wanna try but maybe later. The last time I went modem hunting my wifi went nuts and I had to restore a Nandroid backup lol. Very goodings.

On other news, primary testing of my new 2000mah batts are complete. Not bad for new, unconditioned batts really. For comparison, under similar average usage my Momax batts get around 11-12 hours.

It's awake a lot because I was using PowerAmp half the tine lol. No "proper" deep sleep while listening to music is definately a downer, but 10 hours is okaaay lah.

More freq states is almost always bad. Really. I learned that back during my N900 days.

Woi, 10% drop IN standby PER HOUR is effin serious mang. I get 10% drop per 1/2 hour under HEAVY USE and even that's considered "unoptimised".

Maybe someone should look into underclocking the proc.

Maybe they should implement "true" multitasking too, considering with "cheap ass fake" multitasking they're not getting much battery saving anyway lol.

Oh, and siyah 2.1rc1 is now the first of the Siyah kernels to NOT randomly spazz out on me. Bravo gokhan.

@sevelfold: Try Sandisk, Kingston, Transcend and Lexar. They're all goodings. Get at least class 4 though.

Just spoiler it lol. Anyhow, I should try making my own ROM in the Kitchen and call it "Itik Comel Sungguh" (ICS) lol.

That said, I still WANT ICS ASAP, even if for just the USB Audio out bits (USB DAC/Amp yum), the GUI HW acceleration and the much improved multitasking.

The GalNex specs are not good enough to consider upgrading to though (it's more like a side-grade), so hopefully the Itu Canggih Sangat update comes quick2 to our SGS2, official or otherwise.

That's why my chargers all l200mah Nokia AC10X ones lol.

After flashing siyah and setting charge current to 1000mah, for the first time ever, using the MHL while charging and steaming anime does NOT slowly drain my battery.

Sweet.

Should be at most similar in cap to the Original. Nothing more. Seriously people, the battery cannot really contain any thing more if it's not physically bigger. Plus cells might be of suspect quality and might not last as long.

It might be cheaper then Ori though.

But like I said, I have enough batteries to last me a week nowadays lol. Even thinking to get rid of at least 1 of the momax expowers.

Very balanced way of looking at things. I agree wholeheartedly with this guy, being a prior iP4 modder myself.

iP4 = It just works, but consequently is more limited.
SGS2 = Needs more user interaction for INITIAL set up, but is consequently a whole lot more flexible.

I mean, battery wise I have the ori 1650mah batt, the Sammy 2000mah, Spiderfoot "2400mah", Momax 2700mah and I've tried the Sammy battery case, bought the DroidAx (for someone else) and am waiting for the PowerSkin. How's that for choice?

And than there's kernels, ROMs, Modems to choose from.

Plus the 4S is an effing battery drainer right now. 10% in standby is just sad.

@rattan: I have the MHL cable (ori) and am using it often now to output streaming Anime to my Samsung HD plasma. No issues what so ever except the inability to shut the SGS2 screen off and use the TV out exclusively. Also (prolly because the screen is on all the time), with every other kernel BESIDES Siyah + increased charging input hack, the battery WILL drain while MHL is in use.

@clIan: 4GB files are max, due to Fat32 limitation. Can be solved by using a kernel with FUSE NTFS modules (Siyah has them) and mounting the module with droidscript (allowing you to use NTFS formatted sd-cards, HDDs and pendrives), but I malas wanna try.

Also, 64GB SDXC cards can be used, with the above limitations kept in mind (we can't use exFat yet, only NTFS/Fat32).

And yes, the SGS2 plays a shitload of formats w/o conversion. I convert anyway because watching 720p anime on a handheld is like listening to uncompressed wav files from an iPod shuffle.

Honestly speaking, the ONLY real advantage of the 4S is the DAC (better music SQ, on a minuscule comparison level), and camera (the BSI sensor on the 4S IS better, don't kid yourself guys). As the SQ problem WILL be solved once we have ICS (which allows us to use USB DAC Amps), the camera is the only remaining plus point IMHO.
