what i think the silver lining is even with limited budget we still can finish on top four. we are spending the least compare to both Manchesters, arsenal, liverpool and chelsea. lets see who will levy brings in. dont ask arry, please levy! what we need is a fast CB, good AM and a top targetman

the idea of lowyat spurs gathering for matches sounds cool. hope we can materialize it someday. small group 3-6 people is enough already.
i have the last 5 season's jersey minus this recently finish season as its too plain. but now regret for not completing the collection though.

yes but then arry have his limitation which limited the club to go higher. david moyes have great track record with what he's allowed to use at everton so i think this suits the club as well. lets see. what we need is long term success with limited budget. having money is easy and this was demonstrated by plentiful of clubs but having success with not relying on money solely is much sweeter success. Barca is one of them developing players from their own academy and not buying big star players. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/...d-moyes?cc=4716

nice. finally we can have someone that can replace ageing King and injury prone Dawson... but this signing drags too long and we might lose him but thankfully manage to get him...

excerpt from Wiki King announced his retirement from all forms of football on 19 July 2012 as a result of the chronic knee injuries that plagued much of his career, although it was confirmed he would continue to represent Tottenham Hotspur on an ambassadorial level. Ledley is respected for his reading of the game, coolness under pressure, timing, pace, passing, dominance in the air and his professionalism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ledley_Kinghope he can pass down his quality to the young talents... Added on July 20, 2012, 12:28 pmHarry Redknapp said of King's knee injury: "There's no cure. There's no cartilage, nothing to operate on. It's just bone on bone. So it's just a question of managing it. It swells up after games and it normally takes seven days to recover but having played on Monday night he's had less time than usual. He rarely trains, he mostly just goes to the gym to keep himself ticking over. But not running or anything like that. But even if he only plays 20 games a season, he's worth having because he's so good we have a much better chance of winning." so true it gives me goosebump... no other club have this kind of player... great game overall, lady luck not with us tonite... great goal from Ba but the penalty was bitter one as i thought FK will do more suffice on that situation... VDV signalled to Friedel to go right (VDV's right) but Friedel dive the other way and Ben Arfa did slot it in by the right side. Anyway Harry Kane didnt touch any ball, pity him. just like last season, we lost first game but overall the team played well. First goal is important. lets see next game.

Yeah Bale in center didnt give good. BTW he took VDV's number 11 while VDV took's ade's number 10. sign of not signing ade at all? Defoe as lone striker is not convincing. He's a poacher not a target man. come on Levy...

great news on ade! he will receive around 100k wage per week, lower than what he get on man city the not so good is dawson are going to QPR. will undergo medical by this week and close the deal.
Added on August 22, 2012, 11:32 amreported that Ade's fee is only £5m. if this is true, Levy has done a very good job! wage of £100k per week is considered bonus already...
time to get another good striker to provide competition to both defoe and ade. and another attackiny midfielder of vdv not available.

two defensive midfielder wont bring in goals. yes, we need goals as we cant win by leading with only 1 goal. impressed with vertonghen but he goes up quite often and that worries me. you can go up but make sure not countered attack coz gallas is not that fast to cover. jenas is really facepalm as adebayor today... not contributing to the game. we depend too much on both wing to generate attack and this is not good... VDV not getting much supplies from modfielder and defoe wasting too many chances...
on the bright side, we earned a point already as compare last year when we lose 2 games to both manchester and conceded 8 goals already. for now we already score 2 and conceded 3... next game, norwich is a must win game.
and levy, dont play your fan like this, we know you want to have great deal but pitch performance is needed for moral. come on!

agree with spursfan.
btw mourinho are desperate to get modric as he need a back up for alonso which for last season starts 36 of all matches. he needs an extra deep lying playmaker which usually modric plays in and capable doing... maybe Madrid can gives us their youngster for us to develop with this "partnership" anyway the money is in, now levy, get Lloris and Willian ASAP!

Dempsey & Lloris in. Nice. Finally we land another great goalkeeper and not too depend on Friedel. Nothing against him but he's 41 and already stretch far compare to other players on this level.
