QUOTE(hseyrann00 @ Mar 2 2012, 11:30 AM) I cant really understand what u trying to say, but i think u should know Dock's battery capacity and Tablet's battery capacity are different. That's correct. For example, 50% battery in the dock does not = 50% battery in the tablet. 50% dock battery most likely < 50% tablet battery.Dock might show 70% battery, but then used up all to charge your tablet might only charge 40%. *Just an assumption |

QUOTE(seancorr @ Mar 2 2012, 07:37 PM) Yep my TP wifi is always on when I'm at home. I sometimes use maps to check on locations so the GPS is a welcome extra on a wifi only tablet. Yeah exactly, so without wifi the TP's GPS is non-existent. Because the TP is connected to the GPS only via the wifi. And thus unless you have a portable modem the GPS is virtually useless. As for the wifi signal I think it isn't as great as other tablets with plastic construction. Comparing to my iphone 4 at home the phone has greater signal strength comparing to the TP. |

QUOTE(max_75 @ Mar 5 2012, 01:51 PM) Received call from Asus again and they still claim my pad is 100% normal.. and they insist the GPS will only work with internet connectivity.... It's true though, GPS on most Primes won't work without internet connectivity. So far on this forum not many can actually say they can get a lock-on to a satellite without turning on their wifi connection. |

QUOTE(max_75 @ Mar 5 2012, 03:43 PM) no.. you may have confuse between Google map lock-on and GPS signal I meant here. If I need to load a map or get a direction, of cause I need a connection, but if I just need GPS signal, is ridiculous if connection is needed right? I believe I did not make myself clear. My point was that yes there is a GPS receiver in each Prime, but we can't use it because of hardware defects. |

Guys does anyone else have a problem with their accelerometer on their ATP? Mine seems to be going bonkers. First of all it wont detect me tilting my TP to go into portrait mode instead of the usual landscape. It only work sometimes. And then I tried playing NFS: Hot Pursuit, initially it was okay, I could steer the car properly, but then after a while the accelerometer went crazy and my car just started spinning 360' non-stop. -.-
