Hi, I have a huge problem with my game. For some reason, I can't host a game. Whenever I try to host, my game crashes twice. Yep, twice in a row @_@

I can join other people's game, but I can't host my own. Help? D:

Happened to me since patch 7.10 hit. Till 7.10d still cant host or even join game ( 1st was Invalid AUTH , then cant validate you with steam VAC thingy ). Did and tried everything to no avail so i uninstalled the game along with the DD files in the steamapps>common folder. Then reinstalled the whole damn thing. ( Took my pc 1 whole day to finish the DL )

So I must reinstall? just delete the game? (I won't lose my character data, or i must back it up)

if ur playing on ranked you don't have to backup your save game

if ur playing on open/local go to Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > Common > Dungeon Defenders > Binaries > Win32

and backup DunDefHeroes.dun and DunDefHeroes.dun.bak simply copy those two file in a safe location


when you uninstall your steam make sure you don't del the "steamapps" folder under steam folder

btw, install from backup if u guys need to reinstall. tho u must backup the game 1st.

i stop playing dd until 7.11 patch. more rewarding at that time i suppose and dont have to spend hours on survival XD. Insane last saturday from 7am - 2am on survivor ... sore
