Got a situation here need your enlightenment. I’m trying to transfer car ownership from my father to me. But here’s the situation:-

My location: KL
Father location: Sabah
Car location: KL


So according to the procedure at post in 1st page:-

1) I will bring the car for Puspakom inspection together with car registration card. Pay for inspection fee and collect the results.

2) Go to JPJ, fill in ownership transfer form, thumbprint verification, submit to counter together with car registration card and Puspakom inspection results and pay the fees.

3) Father at Sabah will then go to any Sabah JPJ, fill in the ownership transfer form, thumbprint verification and pay the fees.

4) I will have to go back JPJ to collect the new Car registration card after step 3 is done.

Is the procedure above correct?
