Maybe SCB reliased that their client will terminate their cards and reapply for a new one after a while to get the welcome rebate
*
cannot. the t&c stated if terminated within a year then re-apply wont get the cashback.

"New Principal & Supplementary Credit Card customers are defined as applicants who have not held any Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad credit card for the past 12 months before the applicant’s credit card is issued."

Maybank and OCBC are 'stingy' as they don't wanna waive the service tax. I keeps these 2 cards just because of their 5% rebate.

OCBC give fee rm50 for bonus usage if spend rm10k in previous year. can take it as gst waiver la.
