Getting Started

Part time 4wd can use 4H offroad, but not on road. Part time 4wd does not hv centre diff unlike full time 4wd. Why not look for 1jz vvti auto since u r not going to run it offroad or anything. Autobox would be more comfortable. 1jz vvti has better low end torque

Depends on which 4x4 u driving. From your H4 n H4L example, it's only available in mitsu. That's fine if u running H4 on road, and H4L refers to locked centre diff where front n rear wheels will rotate at the same rate.
Others part time 4wd doesn't hv centre diff, eg. hilux, land cruiser n so on. U can't run 4H on road (not that u can't, but it's not advisable to prevent g/box damage, and it affect the agility of the car) cuz u don't hv a centre diff box.
Ninja n those land rover defender are full time 4x4, they hv centre diff which allows front n rear wheel to rotate at diff rate.
