I'm using Jodix to convert my videos.... lately, the rips won't get recognised by the iPod.... weird! But i had previous success though. I'll try Videora soon.

Hehe, I am getting the ipod video soon. My parents in Aus wanna get me one cost around 349Aud which is like 900+ Doesnt even reach 1000. But what color should i get ? Any protection for it? How much the protection cost? Also i would like to know where to do the engraving thingy...

Which color to get? Entirely up to you. Mine's white and I love it.
I'm using a screen protector and a silicon case to protect my iPod Video 30GB. Keeps it free from most blemishes and I'm happy with the combination. I forget how much I ended up paying for the case and the screen protector - I assure you, it's chump change compared to the cost of the iPod itself Engraving must be done online through the Apple store. Just order your iPod Video online through the Apple Australia store and have your parents get it to you.

need help. jus got an ipod. while charging right. the back light comes on. anyways of offing it?? while charging? il be charging for 4 hours. so how? thanks bro

You can't set it to not turn on manually, I'm afraid. But I believe the back light will dim after a few minutes or so? And if I'm wrong, then... (I haven't used my iPod Photo in a while. XD)

And why would you want to turn it off anyway? It's charging and it shouldn't affect your battery life much, I think.

If you want to avoid airbubbles and sorts when putting on screen protectors, use water and add a bit of soap and then place it on the sticky part of the screen protector. Don't use too much soap, when soap bubbles come out, it's too much already. I have to say, use at your own risk!!!!!! Mine was done nicely with no airbubbles but because he cutting of the screen protector was off the mark, there were aribubles on the edges.

Honestly, methinks if you want to spend on silicon cases, try not the find the the one that doesn't cover the clickwheel and the screen. I bought that for Rm60 and sweat seeps onto my screen protector after a while. It's no harm but don't really like it. I'd recommend that since you already spend so much money on an Ipod, spend a bit more on good quality skins,

i dont get it.. why whn i sync the picture folders frm my comp to my ipod. the size got bigger?? as in my size on my pc is about 2gb.. in my ipod its like 5gb.. thats double?? why cant it jus copy the original files? rather thn convert it?

Got it from a Mac ahop in Low yat, forgot what was the name. But now, i'd recommend Bestskinsever.com 's skin, suit me well, haven't buy it yet though

the IPOD only accept a few format, .Mov, mp4 and m4v.

i was IPOD promoter for 4 days at a warehouse near jln222. and i found out the processing speed for IPOD is slow.

it takes 3 to 5 seconds to go another page or back to the previous page. And the batt, it said can last 14 hours for 30gb, but i think it only last 10 hours.

however, the sound quality is superb! and the touchpad as well!!
