referring to Datuk Seri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, Proton's Group Managing Director, all Proton cars will covered with lifetime warranty for power window...  rclxm9.gif

btw, the lifetime mentioned is limited to 250,000km or 10 years from the date of the vehicle registration, whichever comes first...  hmm.gif

If they are comparing with FLX, I doubt it. My car no matter how hard I hentam, still gives me min ard 12-13km/l
*
the worst things is
does manual provide 12km/l when myvi have 17km/l???
my mt avg fc is 13-15km/l
if i have 15km/l mean myvi will have 22km/l?
LOL rclxms.gif

*

Ha ha no answer smile.gif

If not that worth to buy I'm better going for vios 2nd hand, that's still in good consider I think there is more worth ever in quality or fuel consumption.

I just need driving in taman or city for my wife to pike up my kid & works.
*
then just go for vios
haha biggrin.gif

yes it does. even u switch on ur headlights it fluctuates but very little..
*
if true
which mean the VS i installed is effective
during idling, i remember the rpm needle will fluctuate a bit when ac kick in(that why i inquiry u all to confirm it)
but 4gt is up or down
now is constant after installed VS biggrin.gif

when u wanna accelerate/overtake
u would rev up
when the a/c kicks in....the power is all taken by the a/c
which for my case, the needle stay stationary instead of going up....acceleration came to a hold
thn when the a/c finish it job...the power came back...the needle sometime will go up 1 small bar = acceleration continues...
thats how powerful the a/c is...haha
*
some say does
some say dd not cry.gif brows.gif

Guys, I just went to a Proton Edar showroom today to inquire on FLX CVT. The SA told me Proton is recalling all CVT model to fix a minor problem with the gearbox. So she told me that if I order a CVT variant right now, the delivery will be delayed a little bit.

I was a bit confused because I have never heard of this 'recall' issue. Can anyone confirm?

Mb so far I haven drive a car that so low low fc...... Fc never bother me, just felt that proton did a good job on this car. But bear in mind for those who want to purchase flx, engine oil is slightly expensive n for me I'm not planning to drive after 4 years as I'm not confident enough this car will serve me good after 4 years .

Added on October 21, 2011, 8:41 pm

Nope it is a rumour Bro. I'm so surprise that sa so stupid to say something to prospect who WAN buy cvt model. Stupid......
*
i share my own experience
from full tank, first bar dropped at 56km
i go and refill full tank it ATE ME UP 13L
i never achieve the high fc b4 doh.gif

Exactly. I think that SA want to clear FL punye model than only promote FLX CVT. I asked for a test drive for the CVT and she asked me, "CVT Auto ke manual?" I was like "WTF? Bile mase plak CVT ade manual?"

But on another note, I am undecided between Getrag manual and Punch CVT. Donno which one to choose although I have no complain driving a stick shift during a traffic jam.
*
definitely manual will be more powerful + more optimum FC than cvt more flx model
