K&N drop-in user here.

The filter really make ur ride more smoother & lighter. Better throttle respond, engine breathe more better, & fuel save (depend on ur right foot).

Many user claim that the petrol usage more worst is because of they push the engine more harder. When the time u feel the engine is lighter & better respond, automatically u will push more to enjoy the ride. This is the main reason ppl said is getting worst for the petrol usage.

Actually i m using the type1. But still prefer type3 over type1. As type3 u will feel the arm rest is more better & solid quality than type1 which just screw into the cup holder + feeling goyang goyang rclxub.gif rclxub.gif .
