Hi all,
I am new here. I just got a brand new FLX last week. My car was doing fine till today. Normally when you lock or unlock your car, there will be light beep/sound comes afterwards.. 2x if unlock and 1x if locked... Apparently today, the beep wasn't functioning.. Anyone experiencing something similar to this? Do you guys have any idea what's wrong with it?

Secondly, is it possible to do auto lock door for my FLX? Will it void my warranty or anything?

Hi,
Just want to know is it true that Saga FLX have some issue on the CVT part, and now proton had hold all FLX to be out? Can anyone confirm with me or give me someone inside proton to confirm with me?
*
Ya.. they put on hold for a week. My SA told me it was manufacturing defect. When I called the Proton careline they used a more subtle PR line which they had to recall all the FLX models and have to go through QA check again... My car delivery was delayed 1 week because of this "QA exercise"...

1. Like V12K, press the Alarm and Panic button together. Alarm would sound 4 times. Use it to mute or un-mute your alarm

2. Depends, if you use plug-and-play type, i believe warranty should be okay
*
Thanks for your advise.. My alarm is working like normal. Works like a charm.. What's the pro and cons of having auto lock door?

Hi guys.. when I was parking just now.. I accidentally rammed into the parking pole bar... So my bumper now got scratch mark that is yellow... Due to the colour transfer of the pole bar.. sad.gif

My questions are:
1) How to fix the bumper? Replace new one? How much does it cost to fix my bumper area?

2) Any way to conceal it for the time being?

I took the pictures of the damage done... But I dunno why I cannot attach the photo...

for saga flx,it doesnt have the central lock system like other cars?
if i apply one on my new flx, will it void my warranty?
or can i get the SC to help me to install 1?

feel not safe if my car lock have to be manually lock all the times..
*
I feel you... I did mine a few days ago. I did it for rm95 inclusive of service charge. The mechanic told me the same thing as what ericmaxman told me before.. it is just plug and play device. Shouldn't void the warranty.

Just back from outstation.

I find that after 1,000km servicing, the car feels a bit sluggish, harder to pick up speed to 110 and beyond. I remember my first outstation drive I have to constantly look at the meter and use the brake to slow down to below 110.

Anyone else has same problem?

viscocity.

-50 oil is thicker than -40 oil. Thick oil makes engine more sluggish due to the fact that it need more momentum to move.
*
Whats the advantage using thicker oil despite this viscocity weak point? So what is the recommended oil thickness for saga FLX? 'I take it -40?

petronas, shell ...those oil suck la from my experience
i've been using it all these while since the car is bought just becuz its cheap
now that engine oil hiked 2 times...i change already..now the engine is super quiet and rev happy and light
and somemore the oil i used is just SL...not SM
am using liqui moly(RM118)...or u can try koh_424's Agip...since those petronas already RM103...add few bucks only
*
but i went to this SC @ sea park that day it clearly stated that must buy the oil that they carry on their shelf.. cannot bring own oil.. which other SC in PJ area that have the allowance to bring own oil for service?

some can some cannot
the proton edar SC i go previously allow use own oil
but that time using shell becuz its still cheap and SC allow that oil(this one care less)
most of the time becuz its cheap..RM90 i bought mine
but now since engine oil hiked twice...my place here shell HX7 - RM109...expensive already
thn recently just switch to better oil which is just few bucks more expensive only

I found this eneos oil brand at the auto garage market. Is it good?

yes good
a good oil
u watch carefully the label / the back of the bottle
see if it contains molybdenum(if not wrong), ester, PAO
eneos itself contains molybdenum
simply said molybdenum - makes the engine smooth and quiet
ester, PAO = make the engine lighter, easier to rev and pickup faster
*
Thanks bro for the advise. I found your liqui moly on below thread. Liq moly or Eneos better? or both same quality?
