wanna ask opinion on Saga 1.6 vs Myvi 1.5 vs Persona

getting my first car. and a real noob in car thing
my usage is 50% highway and 50% city

i really love the saga design though. but still confuse which is bang for the buck
*
Depends on your budget.

And timing.

Do give you criteria.

ignore the digital fuel gauge indicator
just kinda rubbish and inaccurate for each bar
*
Funny how some people keep using it to gauge their driving

I'd say 70% accuracy lol.

Budget?

QUOTE(NewbieBetta @ Oct 31 2011, 11:19 PM)
because previous experience it had gave me pretty accurate reading dropping withing that range every time. So just felt weird this time, will it be due to I had change to fully syn oil.

but 1 big diff fully syn oil really give a big diff to the engine  thumbup.gif
*
Price wise also thumbup.gif

Like i said before, if got budget, go for full syn

------------------------------------------------------

On a side note, my TOYO oil, i asked them about the 7k interval oil change, here's their reply.

"Dear Eric, yes it can last for 7000 km. Don't worry we do research on the lubricants before we started to complete the products and specs. Thanks"

wtf

every oil can last 7k, but the engine can't.

just like the human body can tahan unfiltered water, but too much unfiltered water will also make you masuk ICU.
*
My mech said by 5k engine will feel sluggish liao.

Push 7k? If that fakaps my engine, i'll demand a replacement laugh.gif

But now its smooth, due to the higher viscosity, but not as responsive as before.

i think these 3 is the only car i can afford. budget less 53k i guess. with downpayment 10k-15k. wanna pay about rm600 monthly. dun willing to starve myself. there's other thing i need to spend on
*
If you need a big boot, travel highway a lot, take Persona.

If you travel highway less, but still need a boot, take Saga.

If you travel mostly city, don't need boot, take MYVI

many ppl still talkg abt resetting ecu... gosh.. can someone tell in what situations ecu reset is needed?
*
Depends on situation.

Unless you really notice something wrong with your car, most of the time, the ECU self adapts itself to the situation.

Morning bro!

been ages since we last saw you.

FC? *sigh* in and out also this thread talks about FC. Non stop. rclxub.gif

I don't see what's so great? I mean, want to save petrol? Walk, cycle, take bus. Driving wont help you save petrol. Or are you those type who is so penny wise that every single cent also want to be calculative? rolleyes.gif

Whatever it is, just drive and pump petrol la. I'm pretty sure most of you all sure got allocate a certain budget for petrol, right?

hm eric hope u wont mind but i just wana check if my lovely ride is normal or not....

for every full tank (arnd rm57-59), i get 300-320km.
is this normal?

50% city, 50% highway... pls advice...
*
Pretty average. Just don't go to the extreme and keep the low fuel indicator blinking

If the fuel pump spoils, don't come looking here whistling.gif

If manual, it is possible to yield a bit better results.

Since your is auto, i believe 350km to 380km is still possible...

Hi guys.. when I was parking just now..  I accidentally rammed into the parking pole bar...  So my bumper now got scratch mark that is yellow... Due to the colour transfer of the pole bar.. sad.gif

My questions are:
1) How to fix the bumper? Replace new one? How  much does it cost to fix my bumper area?

2) Any way to conceal it for the time being?
*
