Bro, I feel for u. I had my entire apartment cleaned up when I was studying alone in Dublin, Ireland. My pillowcase also they took. I was left with one USB cable n my clothes.

But in ur case, I believe somehow the thieves know of ur HDD trade. Maybe u should start out from there if u really intend to investigate.

In the end, money is lost, time will b wasted but at least u were not around when they were, u could hv been hurt if not worst.
