I wouldn't say its Ugly, but it look rather elegant, sleek and neat(with the kevlar) in fact. I'm afraid ur hand had gotten used to holding iphone not android phone with screen beyond 3.5'.
If I'm not mistaken, Initially most of the SGS2 reviewer did mention SGS2 as well feels plasticky especially the back cover as it is indeed made of plastic. Bear in Mind, 3GS back cover is also made of Plastic. and u missed a point. SGS2 is using Super Amoled Plus, while Razr is using Super Amoled Advance so there is definitely a difference between the 2 Amoled screen.
The UI is rather standard android UI compared to iOS, becoz u haven't actually use android from its initial UI layout and watch how it evolved throught each versions.
Why can't more Android users be like you. I agree, the RAZR is sleek and when I put it in my pocket could hardly feel its presence. Actually the part that I didn't like was the kevlar back, felt a bit like rubber. But the SGS2 and 3GS plastic is nice and shiny, but the RAZR looks grey and dull, nothing like the promotional pictures.
Don't really know about the difference between the Super AMOLED Plus and Advanced, but I remember being impressed with the SGS2's screen.
A friend told me to get HTC because it has nice UI, so don't know how customizable the UI for Android phones are.
