by the way guys, there seems to be a bit of bulge on the rear lower part of the kevlar cover. suspect of the intense heat when i use the phone for tethering on my laptop.
thinking of selling it off now. haizzzzz |

getting warm is one thing, getting a permanent bulge is another thing. somehow you can feel the bulge, and it's not as smooth as before. well, just for reminder to those who just own this razr, not to use it for tethering too long as i found it gets much hotter than just normal usage or charging the battery.

QUOTE(cylon @ Dec 30 2011, 10:31 PM) What's your previous phone? Doesn't it have the same issue? I believe it's got to do with the output of charge from your usb. i'm not stating about the battery, i'm stating about the back kevlar battery cover. please read and understand carefully. there's really a small bulge and i'm pretty sure it's b'cos of the heat, surely it's not visible with plain sight. but being a less than 8mm thin phone, i can now certainly feel the bulge with your hand on the kevlar cover.I face the same problem with my Hero, change the battery twice. The first one which is original last nearly two years and the other one which is extended oem battery last only 2 months. Now if I want to use it for an extended period of time, I would change it to the old battery. But then you can't change Razr's battery. my previous phone was ip4 and yes it gets hot using for tethering but never did the heat made the back cover bulging up and ended up with the bulging permanently. i'm just sharing here, hopefully all of you here don't end up like mine. |

better wait for razr maxx. i myself sold off my razr oredi yesterday, actually can directly buy GNote but i find it to be too big for my jeans pocket, so ditch the plan. so now just use cheap phone while waiting for razr maxx which should be here in mid of february.

i sold off my razr to a friend last 2 weeks and got myself a gnote. frankly after a while, i think razr is more suitable for me, not about the physical size but some of the menu settings i find is friendlier compared to gnote.
i'm missing my razr oredi. |
