hello all,

i have purchased motolola razr since 1 month ago. previously i used htc desire hd and i have to admit i miss the sense ui. the good things i like motolola - internet coverage is good as well as the battery life. no joke battery can last long.

but what i dont like about it is that
1. battery charging - normally i will start charging after it drained off and the frustrating part, i cant use computer usb to charge it. need to use wall charger otherwise it wont move from 0-5%.
2. the laggy sliding part - its a bit laggy when i run the motolola fb apps .. i mean real LAGGY .. how many core again this phone has?

before i purchase this phone i heard rumors about motolola seldom give an update or develop newer firmware on their devices but then i decided to trust the promoter and buy one. so, when is the ICS coming out again?

today, i saw this video from xdadevelopers youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=gtyZhwvhqiQ saying about motolola.. i cant help but to share about it. if you are a hardcore android user u must watch this. to potential buyer, think twice.

Why u want to buy either phone? If ur the type who enjoy rooting, maybe sgs2. If u prefer better internet, recommend u razr. Heard feedback from users saying many encounter internet problem in sgs2. Pls view motorola razr and sgs2 by xdadevelopers @youtube for more convincing review?

On other notes, compared to other brand warranty claim, Motorola Malaysia does not void your warranty for rooted phones / soft bricks (with original recovery & bootloader still locked). That means even if your phone is bad at this state, you should still be able to claim your warranty at any of Phoneworx branch.

Despite the bad reviews, I enjoyed using my RAZR without expecting firmware updates releasing fast. I'm taking it slow for the money I paid for it. It's good to know that every 3 months or so I get a firmware updates from 2.3.4 to 2.3.5 and now 2.3.6 which soon probably be ICS. take your time and enjoy the value for money you paid for smile.gif

Thx for the info. Meaning most androids are using 5.0v is it? I feel like motorola trying to customize their own hardware..

I have to agreee with you.. its quite troublesome to see ur screen with glare .. used to have desire hd and everytime need to use hand to give shade to my screen :s .. dunno whether can fix this thing by using anti glare screen protector or not .. hmm.gif
