but NFC is missing

does NFC widely used? or maybe in 2-3 years time?

I have been expecting NFC phone to be striking market arounf Q3/4 this year. But All the manufacturer failed to impress me. And Google Nexus Line Doesn't allow user to extend memory.

The first let down was Nexus S which its NFC is lying at the back cover. Second was Galaxy S2, which Samsung demonstrated NFC during MWC 2011 but not in market till now.

NFC is overrated, maybe in 3-4 years time...

yup i think so too, i believe the mass usage for NFC will take longer time

celcom will sell this device as low as rm1199 with 18 months contract. maxis and digi are going to bring it too but the price is not yet announced. so better wait 1st

so my question are? (this is my first time to consider smart phone)

Should I go on a contract basis?
Will the phone without a contract much more feasible?

better without, trust me, sure want to sell soon.

Yes, after quad core the only thing left is for phone manufacture to go on perfecting their phones UI. And so,no more raw power :-)

Whats the point of quad core when currently even dual cores are hardly supported by most app's?

Plus getting the phone with plan would not be all that bad, even if u sell off your phone, u sell it at a higher rate then u buy + u have a plan to use the new one on!

the point is to look at the future, with longer support.

if you have a dual core phone, youd understand the improvements over browser, which is the key feature of a smartphone, not its apps. the apps are something to go along with, overrated.
