Even OTA from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 nullify the root.

problem: battery info there show, at night time (around 12am-6am), the phone is awake, while there is no movement or any usage.

consequences: battery drain approx 15~20% while last time only drain 3~5% over the night.

any solution can suggest?

Smart action : Trigger : night, no motion, display off -> Action : Silent, Off Background Sync, Wifi, Cellular Data

if this working, then it won't on data right?

If any of you fail, make sure you don't tinker with any stock apps. If you either freeze or uninstall it or doing any modification to system files such as modifying build.prop the update could fail. Revert everything to stock before applying to update.

I managed to messed up the update, because of build.prop. I deleted the modded one and forgot to put the backup one back. The system won't boot just stuck at motorola logo with dual core word. I just fixed it but I installed the Asianretail instead of PSHAsianretail so now I need to download the other one because the Asianretail don't have ICS yet. Bugger

well someone uploaded the OTA. if you know you're on the right version but cnt afford to wait for update to be found, you head here and download the OTA manually

i've verified it to be valid by trying on my device

keep pressing volume up and down simultaneously,n u will boot into stock recovery

meanwhile, u might wanna backup ur stuff...cuz after OTA, it's best to reset. i have to reset twice (sumthing went wrong with screenshot function)...now everything is just awesome

can suggest what game should i test? i smooth ny with temple run...but tht's the only graphic heavy game i installed atm..

u ady factory reset after update? if ady try go developer options and force GPU rendering to clarify is hardware or firmware issue 

u rooted? can tell me if u apply tweaks or really stock?

seems like sumthing wrong with the graphic processing...y not u try to reset again or sort? i had to reset twice for mine so yeah...ma fan but worth it when everything is fine...
