1) Will Stainless Steel Tank rust if i put it above the ceiling, under the roof?
Yes normal 304 stainless steel tank will rust, unless u get a 316 grade like King Kong Farmosa Series.

2) When you purchase a 300gal tank, does the tank really stores 300gal of water?
No, the max capacity of the tank is 300gal but it will b less than that due to overflow hole and infill valve location. Some water tanks like Deluxe can store minimum 5% extra. Why? i will show u soon....

well if your kingkong label is dark blue then its 304

king kong's 316 is call farmosa or something like that...and the label is yellow in colour

well it does come with 10 years warranty so guess it takes min 10 years to start rusting smile.gif

Yup, Farmosa is yellow label while the normal king kong is blue. The price of Farmosa is almost double of the normal king kong water tank.

When they say 10 years warranty, it comes with some terms & conditions.

Here is why some water tanks like deluxe can store more water.

Actually, can we modify the ball float configuration in order to store more water...  hmm.gif

yes u can modify but might damage the ball float and might not last long.

but can the tank actually store that extra water ?? sometimes they "design" it like that cause its not ment to be

extra 100 liters = 100kg or so leh smile.gif

@zean , yeah u were right king kong support frame looks much more studier than deluxe one... smile.gif in some sense...

King Kong's support frame is stronger as it has extra I-Frame leg.

Hi so which is better deluxe or king kong for SS304, anyone saw/have any review.  The priced almost the same (based on ATKC).

As the tank will be put outside, will the water become hot at noontime?

Thanks
