That's why you need to have an outdoor water filter that can remove chlorine.
Nowadays it is a trend that we waste more money to buy sickness.
The best material for water tank is still using the good old poly tank. May not be environment friendly, but can last very long.

My poly tank 19yrs old already. Under direct sunlight.

You don't need SS tank at all.

remove chlorine and let bacteria grow in the tank eh?

Poly tank with the direct water into the tank is enough.

Don't need any special filter or remove chlorine filter.

A standard filter like the usual rocket type or 3M for general filter is sufficient. It help to reduce the rust and sendiment in the tank. Can reduce your frequent to wash the tank. ( I wash 2x peryrs)

The important is, keep the cover tight and don't let any bugs fly in. I have a bad experience with this.

Hi, I'm planning to install stainless steel water tank and water pump booster at home. its a single story bungalow unit (just average), 3 bathroom, wet kitchen and dry kitchen. only 3 people staying at a time and once in 2,3months will have occasion with high consumption of water. the water pressure now are definitely slow especially for the shower. that is why we planning to get water pump and water tank.

my question is, for this kind of household, how many liter of tank is required to cover our water consumption? 1000liter? 1250liter? or more? i already survey for few brand like Kingkong and deluxe. and for water pump i'm considering Grundfos Gemini EP240PC.

NEED URGENT HELP FROM YOU LOVELY GUYS  icon_question.gif

Why you asking people for your water consumption? How people know you drink how many litter of water, bath how many time, cook, wash, pee how many time, etc ?

You should know your own water consumption perday. Than from there multiple how many person per house.

Than backup how many day from the history your area when water ration.

From this you should know what size the tank to buy.

Zean, king kong 304 will rust too right?  Only 316 don't rust or takes much longer time to rust?
I was advised to use poly tank and not use SS tank due to rust problem.

Just use the poly tank.

SS shouldn't be rust. Accept if low quality material.

316 is for more hash chemical. Very acidic chemical.

Question here: If I want to purchase a SS water tank that can store 330 gallons of water, how heavy will be the tank ? I am thinking of putting the tank on a concrete slab.

I believe this is their manufacturing model number.
