QUOTE(Poadster @ Oct 15 2011, 06:52 PM) Duh.... u mean your "Ori" strut bar give you better handling than UR bars, even if both have the same function (they are just different in design and brand... duh)... ??? Sure or not, or this is your pride speaking after getting an "Ori" stuff??? lol.... scare hit my chasis only... Also, u really need to compare your "Ori" bars versus those taken from Ori LGT, there are some difference.... ask nzh or JackNg.... Added on October 15, 2011, 7:04 pm QUOTE(ckk125 @ Oct 15 2011, 07:00 PM) haha..i just booked my ori lancer strut bar from mitsubishi ipoh. i dont expect much difference if any compared to UR or watever bar. woot... someone is joining me here.... hehe.... congrats ckk125.just like the ori lancer strut bar. QUOTE(Poadster @ Oct 16 2011, 02:44 PM) The quality of the weld is the issue here.... notice that nzh's bar is fully welded along the entire stretch where the 1in metal water pipe meets the round plate, where sleed's bar is welded only at the front and the back but not middle... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_koFXUwAbrrI/RsEa...00/Lancer11.JPGAs this is the contact and stress point of the bar (it holds the towers from flexing during hard corners), any weak point here (the unwelded part) can possibly crack and break... So it seems strange that sleed's bar that is bought from a Mitsu centre is not same and completely welded, as compared to other bars that was taken directly off a LGT.... thats all... http://image.superstreetonline.com/f/92491...+engine_bay.jpg http://l.yimg.com/dv/izp/mitsubishi_lancer...ther_engine.jpg http://image.modified.com/f/18237462+w750+...+engine_bay.jpg ![]() same as mine gua... |

QUOTE(Poadster @ Oct 26 2011, 04:41 PM) Duit company.... Because it is not original. Secondly, my bonnet is not aligned and the holder part have scratches. Bad experience and now have to go SC to align it back. Thirdly, it doesnt hold that well either. Feels it will spoiler faster due to temperature and wear and tear. If one pump spoiler, it wont able to hold the bonnet.Added on October 26, 2011, 4:46 pm Make note of the paint chip during delivery, and insist them to mark it down as defect. Then get them to fill up a defect claim note, and get the technical manager or branch manager to sign on it. This is so that they log in the defect. Then go to a SC that have paint shop in the compound (in KL, so far only Sect 13 PJ and COE Shah Alam has), and claim warranty by re-spray. Do take note that you have to leave your car there for re-spray. Added on October 26, 2011, 4:49 pm Pls share your opinion, why not advisable??? Added on October 26, 2011, 6:59 pm QUOTE(oscarsmh @ Oct 26 2011, 06:47 PM) PM-ed you already.Added on October 26, 2011, 7:04 pm QUOTE(gagak_84 @ Oct 26 2011, 03:51 PM) what is the different? Different the the logo and the material. 2007 model have better material and the logo is in silver color. While the current they cut cost and the logo is not silver color. Just normal black color.C. Original Mitsubishi Engine Cover (2007 or current) 2007: RM 250; current: RM120. This post has been edited by sleed: Oct 26 2011, 07:57 PM |
